There are very few people who have mastered the art of blow drying with a round brush, which is why getting a professional blow out is such a treat. But we've been doing a happy dance ever since we discovered Spornette's Porcupine Rounder Brush, which helps us easily replicate blowouts at home. The brush's unique combo of nylon and porcupine bristles gently grips strands to make it easy to style, while also adding amazing shine.
My brush needed refreshing, so I decided to try this one out. I have fine, straight hair to begin with, and this helps to give it a nice lift! After blowdrying, my hair gets VERY shiny too, making it look great. The brush is very easy to hold onto and I love the wood handle.4
I have very curly hair and I used this brush to give myself a blowout. My hair did not get caught on the bristles and the blowout came out great.4
This is my first rounding brush that I have used. After seeing my hair dresser do it, I decided to try and master it myself. I am still working on it, but this brush definitely helps out.4
This is a BIG old brush. I do like it for my bangs though. Gives me good lift of my fine hair and keeps it shiny and non static!4
I am a big fan of this brush. Usually, when I try to blow dry my own hair straight, it ends up a frizzy mess. This brush really helps smooth your hair out.4
I like the smooth wooden handle so my hair doesn't have anywhere to get caught. Also, the mixture of the bristles is nice and makes for blow drying my hair a breeze. One thing I noticed is that after 2 uses, the plastic bristles have already started to melt from my hair dryers heat. So I'm not sure how long this will last.4
I havent used this yet but I have no doubt it will work just fine. It's basically exactly what I wanted. It is a little bigger than I realized which I thought I didn't want. Perhaps it will be a blessing in disguise. If i am disappointed I will edit this review!4
It's not a life changer, but this is a quality brush for a good price. The combination of bristles is particularly nice. I wouldn't recommend for very full or thick hair.4
I have never perfected the art of a blow out. My hair is naturally wavy and I usually try to blow dry as quickly as possible and then use a straightener.
I bought this brush in the hopes that I can have some success in a blow out since I wanted the volume. This brush definitely works - it does help that birchbox had a short video how to do a blow out!
Seriously, this brush is awesome for blow-drying! I usually buy bigger diameter brushes to blow-dry my thick, coarse, curly hair. But this one does the trick!! It pulls on the hair enough to provide tension but does not snag. It also seems to reduce static. I love the wooden handle and how it is all one piece; no where for small hairs to get snagged and no junctions to fail or break. I am so glad I bought this brush!5
