Spornette knows that a good hairbrush lasts a lifetime, which is why their Luxury Cushion Brush has been our tried-and-true styling tool ever since it landed onto our desks. Thanks to the soft oval cushion, boar and tourmaline-infused nylon bristles, and sleek satin handle, this essential tool rivals any of today's higher end brushes (we're looking at you, Mr. Pearson) for a fraction of the cost.
BEST BRUSH EVER! I WILL NEVER USE ANOTHER BRUSH AGAIN. IT MAKES MY HAIR FEEL SO SOFT AND HEALTHY!!! CANT WAIT TO BUY ANOTHER BRUSH3
it brushes thru my hair pretty good but it puts so much static in it. I only use the brush when my hair is dry. I didnt like it when my hair was wet.3
This brush gives me a lot of static, but if I use it on damp (not wet) hair it tends to work very well. Makes it shiny, and doesn't pull.3
Brush performed as promised, would love for more grip in the handle. Also, pretty hard to clean the bristles. Used both with blow dryer and straightening iron, results were flawless with either method for desired "smooth with bounce" I have very thick hair, dry, wavy and the bristles are not long enough for single brush strokes. I have to divide my hair into sections or else I end up with helmet head. I hope this brush lasts a long time.3
A nice brush, but not my favourite. I have a paddle brush that I prefer, but wanted a boar bristle for dry hair. It doesn't brush all the way through my medium-thick long hair, but it does make it a little shiner. Might not purchase again, but I'm not unhappy with it. Doesn't add something necessary to my beauty arsenal.3
This is great brush for a great price. Almost as good as my Mason Pearson and detangles well. I don't like the matt finish on the paddle but overall, great brush!4
This is the kind of brush that is good for your hair and helps distribute oil throughout the hair for shine and health. If I had long hair I would brush it with this 100 strokes every night. I don't think it's quite as good as the ones sold by Caswell Massey, but you can't beat the price of this one!4
It does feel kind of cheap and some of the bristles are bent or have fallen out but other than that it feels great on my hair and I have high hopes for it!4
I have a Mason Pearson brush. I love it. I have had it for many years and it is wonderful. It was also an anniversary gift as I would be hesitant to spend as much as I did on it. Now the reason I sing the praises of the MP brush are that it seemed to be the only brush to get the tangles and knots out of my daughter's hair without her screaming to high heaven. I really do not want her running about with my brush, as she seems to hide it from me. I have also tried a number of brushes trying to find some thing that is not going to be expensive to replace if she loses it or breaks it or if someone else runs off with it at swim practice.
THIS IS THE BRUSH!!!!
It was a Christmas gift and as far as I am concerned it is the best thing she received this year! It takes care of her Captain Caveman hair in the morning when she wakes. It smooths it with out pulling and screaming. It is really wonderful. The only thing I did not care for is the "silicone, rubber" on the brush back and handle. I was expecting the plastic like the MP brush. This coating or what have you has a smell to it. It has since gone away, but was rather strong when the item was unwrapped. This is the ONLY reason the brush was given 4 stars. The smell made the brush seem cheap. So if you are gifting it, take it out for a day or so and let the brush air out.
This is a fantastic brush. I really wish I had known about it before I bought all the other brushes we have tried over the past year looking for the perfect brush. I love the price. If anything were to happen I would not even think twice about replacing it with the same brush. I love that they offer it in a smaller size, which I plan to purchase so my daughter can keep it in her backpack.
Love this brush! A great brush if you don't want to pay for one of the Mason Pearson Brushes... Or want a version you can throw in your gym bag. Can't say I have ever used a brush or comb much or spent much on one but I figured I'd try one out. I don't have much to compare it to but I'm incredibly happy and it should be a great start to providing more professional hair care to my locks!4
