It doesn’t matter if you buy them in bulk or on sale, razor blades still set you back a pretty penny. The fine folks at HYD For Men have found a solution: science. This Razor Shield combines natural oils with some impressive scientific abracadabra to keep your blades from corroding. Longer-lasting razors mean more smooth shaves, less environmental waste, and more money in your pocket.
The idea is great for women because we leave our razors in the shower and could use the protection for our razors. My husband however didnt seem to care either way about it because once his razor is too dull for his face it is thrown away anyways. So....get rid of the idea for men but maybe push the product for the women.5
I've only just started using the product. I use disposable razors mostly, so thought I'd put a bit of the product on the blades, but not enough time has passed to tell if it's effective or necessary. I foresee that the sample I received will last me a long time.3
It may take a while to see if this product works but if your a DE shaver then it wont be worth it to shave your cheap blades.3
i use a safety razor and the blades are dirt cheap. i really don't care about prolonging their life.1
I am not sure if this prodct will extend the life of my razor. I use the disposable razors that comes in a pack of 10. I had rather throw them away once the blades are dull.3
Nice scent. Not sure if it works or not. I will try it and see if it does. I will update in a month if the fourm lets me.3
Since I use safety razors and blades are pennys on the dollar I see no reason for this product. Besides, safety razors give you a better shave anyway.2
I am not sure how well this product works, as a smoother shave could come from the shaving cream i am using compared to the razor shield...4
not sure this does anything to prolong blades, I'd rather spend my money on something to make my face more comfortable rather than my razor blades1
this adds another step to an already annoying process. Not even sure if it works. I've got a lot of money tied up in razors.1
