When your dad taught you how to shave with that razor he’d removed the blades from, he was hoping that you’d grow up to use a shaving cream like this. This classic softens and lifts beard hairs, while simultaneously soothing and moisturizing your skin. Add some Sandalwood aromatherapy to the mix, and you’ve got something that is pops-approved.
I have sensitive skin and recently used it on an overnight trip. This product irritated my skin and did not provide any moisture and left my skin red and irritated. A liberal application of my standard post-shave moisturizer did nothing to rectify the situation. I ended up throwing the rest of the product into the hotel trash- I'm going back to my standby.1
I don't think there is anything special about my skin to make this product so ineffective. Had way more irritation after use than with just normal Gillette.1
This product had an extremely offensive odor which smelled like chemicals. Once I had this smelly gunk on my face, I proceeded to shave. The cream was much to thin and did not foam up so I ended up massacring my face. I would not recommend this product.1
I got a good shave, but despite saying its unscented I was put off by the scent. It seems everything has a scent so I'd prefer a good one to this.1
Just as the title says, it simply doesn't lather. Not a good product at all1
I didn't like the smell or the feel. also the texture wasn't for me.1
"the art of shaving" is far from it, anyone who really does shave with a straight razor would never use this product, one glance at the ingredients label and you will know why1
I care about the products I use when I shave. This is a middle of the road product. There are far better products that Birchbox sells for the same price.2
The sandalwood version of this product has a nice, masculine scent. The product lathers well when using a brush. On the downside, it is not for sensitive skin. It caused my skin to become very itchy and it burned a little. This product has many wonderful reviews, but it's simply not for men with sensitive skin.2
I don't understand the rave reviews of this one.
This product is simply average. I'd place it above drug store offerings, but nowhere near the same class as other premium brands.
There are much better options for the price.
