When your dad taught you how to shave with that razor he’d removed the blades from, he was hoping that you’d grow up to use a shaving cream like this. This classic softens and lifts beard hairs, while simultaneously soothing and moisturizing your skin. Add some Sandalwood aromatherapy to the mix, and you’ve got something that is pops-approved.
Art of Shaving products always remind me of old men, and the smell now does too. Nothing spectacular about the shaving cream but it wasn't bad either. Not worth the price for me as I can get the same shave with something less expensive.5
I'm not one to splurge on shaving cream. I have pretty sensitive skin and found that there was no irritation from this product, and it's of really great quality. I do love things that smell nice, and was a little bummed that this is unscented, but appreciate the fact that it doesn't have scent chemicals added.3
I thought this cream worked pretty well. I liked the texture, and how close of a shave I received afterwards. However, it doesn't seem special enough to warrant a $25 price tag.3
Everything was great and all the reviews are right a little does go a long way but I just do not like the way it smells. I know its supposed to unscented but it isn't and its unsettling to me.3
My husband raves about this line of products. He regularly grows out a bear and then shaves it off every few months. He has extremely sensitive skin and this is one of the only products that doesn't make him break out when he shaves.
Felt like the shave was ok. Didn't care as much for the sandalwood smell, and texture seemed ok but I've had closer shaves.3
This is a really good shave cream - lathers up nicely and provides a close shave. "Unscented" seems like a strange qualification though because it smelled weird to me - perhaps adding a scent would be better.3
I haven't tried this, it doesn't smell as good as some of the others I have received and I have so many shaving cream samples through birchbox that just seem better3
I like the combination of using the shaving oil, cream, and after-shave lotion. I have the lemon scent, which is nice and fresh.
No complaints, get a badger-hair brush to lather up and apply after rubbing some oil into your face. Definitely gives a way better shave than the 2-1 stuff from a can.
I really liked this shave cream, but I have plenty of stock, so I'm not looking to buy. I like the sample size and will take it when I go away for a mini vacation this weekend. It leaves skin smooth after shaving and not itchy at all.4
