Until now, we associated Antica Farmacista with those fabulous reed diffusers for the home (in fact, they’re credited with bringing the concept to the US). So when we heard that they were translating their signature scents into a line of moisturizers, we practically danced for joy. These lotions come in an adorably retro bottle reminiscent of an old-fashioned apothecary. And in a range of delicious scents, they’ll make your mouth water with every application. They also pass the hydration test: They’re packed with natural moisturizers—like shea butter and sweet almond oil—that enrich the fragrance.
It smells really nice, and does not leave a greasy residue, but it is not the most hydrating lotion out there. It'll do in a pinch, but not worth the relatively high price tag.3
I liked this lotion! It smells nice. They gave you a nice size, perfect for the purse. It also doesn't leave my skin greasy. It absorbs nicely!4
I liked the product, but i dont really use lotion too often. I did like the scent though.3
This is a very nice product. It is very moisterizing.5
I like the scent of the lotion. Grapefruit is such a different smell, and I think that the sample size is great. I just have so much lotion I prefer over this.3
The grapefruit version is a fresh bright scent. The lotion is not thick, but it applies nicely and absorbs well, leaving my skin feeling refreshed and not sticky.4
I like the scent and the size is great to put in my purse. The lotion feels a little different than other lotions I use, not sure why...4
The grapefruit scent of this lotion is pretty strong. It's a nice moisturizer and didnt leave me greasy, but I was not a fan of the smell.3
I love the grapefruit fragrance in this-- perfect for summer. I found the scent to be very long lasting and subtle and the lotion absorbed quickly. My skin is not particularly dry and this provided just the right amount of moisture.4
This lotion absorbed fast and wasn't greasy, and I do like the grapefruit scent. But there is just no reason to spend $25 on it. It's average lotion at best.3
