If we were assigning high-school yearbook superlatives to products, argan oil would easily win “Most Likely to Succeed.” This Moroccan import is loved by foodies and beauty junkies alike; the former extol its health benefits (you can cook with the food-grade version), while the latter rave about its triple-threat effects on face, body, and hair. (It soothes dry skin, softens fine lines, guards against pollutants, and adds shine to strands, among other things.) In fact, argan oil has become so popular that the Moroccan government plans to triple annual production by 2020. Violet Oasis’ version is 100% pure, organic, and cold-pressed (which prevents degradation, allowing the oil to preserve more nutrients).
My cuticles are ALWAYS dry, cracking, and just all around pathetic. But since I have received this sample, I have put it on my cuticles every night and I have noticed such a huge difference! My nail beds are coming to life and my cuticles are no longer splitting! Love this stuff!5
Ladies, we couldn't ask for anything better! We all need this type of hair treatment! Best product hands down! Love it!4
It seems to moisturize well but the smell is terrible. I can't really explain the scent but it's not fruity or flowery like other nice oils. It does have a distinct smell though, very earthy. If the scent was different maybe I would use as the oil itself is very light and not greasy.2
I LOVE this product! I have naturally curly hair and I've been using this oil after a good shampoo and conditioner to bring out my curls. I comb this product into my hair and go! Simple and easy with great results!5
The oil smells fantastic and is wonderful to use in the dry climate of Colorado. I cannot use it in the morning, however, because it leave my face too greasy.4
The smell and feel are great. I'm still getting used to the Argon oil fad. I have used it on my curly hair and on my dry hands.4
I really wanted to like this product as a moisturizer for my face, but all it did was cause me to break out. My skin is pretty sensitive though, so possibly others won't have that issue. I have yet to try it on my hair or dry spots like my elbows.2
This is about the same as my other formulations of argan oil. It's not too heavy, doesn't have a strong nutty smell and it's moisturizing. It really isn't wonderfully different than other forms of argan, so I probably won't purchase the full size, but it's nice to have the small sample vial for travel.3
This was a decent product but really could not tell a difference between this one and the other argan oils out there. What I can say is that any omega oils are great for the skin. Not sure I would re buy.3
ok, I have really thick, curly, frizzy hair and have been using moroccan oil every day for years, so I am no stranger to using defrizzing/smoothing oil products. I used seriously the smallest amount of this (that would cover what i needed in my hair) because i'm cheap and wanted to make it last as long as i could....my hair looked like i hadn't washed it in weeks it looked so greasy. it looked and felt greasy and i unfortunately did it at night, thinking my hair would absorb the oil like my usual moroccan oil does...and I woke up for work in the morning and it didnt. grease ball to work. really disappointed in this one. if my hair got greasy with it and i'm a oil regular, i wouldn't recommend it to anyone that doesn't have seriously dry hair. and it smells weird.1
