If we were assigning high-school yearbook superlatives to products, argan oil would easily win “Most Likely to Succeed.” This Moroccan import is loved by foodies and beauty junkies alike; the former extol its health benefits (you can cook with the food-grade version), while the latter rave about its triple-threat effects on face, body, and hair. (It soothes dry skin, softens fine lines, guards against pollutants, and adds shine to strands, among other things.) In fact, argan oil has become so popular that the Moroccan government plans to triple annual production by 2020. Violet Oasis’ version is 100% pure, organic, and cold-pressed (which prevents degradation, allowing the oil to preserve more nutrients).
Loved the size of sample from birch box...thank you. So on vacation with my little bottle. Just washed hair and it looks dirty. Flat, dark and greasy. Quickly looke at description on site. Says for hair. Maybe not for blondes with fine hair. I use 2 oils at home together. But drops of this no good for me. Maybe used too much. Don't think so. Beware on hair.1
I'm a freak about smell. Won't use anything that has a smell I don't care for. I did try it it was nice but I just wouldn't use it.3
I tried the oil today. I used just a little because I read from others it made hair oily. It didn't make my hair oily but it also didn't do anything spectacular. Maybe I need more time trying it out? Not sure on this one.3
It's not a bad product. I can't tell much of a difference between this and my other Argan oil products (that are much cheaper), aside from the consistency feel on my hands (and that the others are designed solely for hair). I rubbed some on my elbows and that was okay, too timid to put it on my face too since my face can already get oily at times, I didn't want to make it worse. Worked fine on my hair I guess, but I couldn't tell much of a difference with vs. without it before blow drying/styling, honestly.3
My cuticles are ALWAYS dry, cracking, and just all around pathetic. But since I have received this sample, I have put it on my cuticles every night and I have noticed such a huge difference! My nail beds are coming to life and my cuticles are no longer splitting! Love this stuff!5
Ladies, we couldn't ask for anything better! We all need this type of hair treatment! Best product hands down! Love it!4
It seems to moisturize well but the smell is terrible. I can't really explain the scent but it's not fruity or flowery like other nice oils. It does have a distinct smell though, very earthy. If the scent was different maybe I would use as the oil itself is very light and not greasy.2
I LOVE this product! I have naturally curly hair and I've been using this oil after a good shampoo and conditioner to bring out my curls. I comb this product into my hair and go! Simple and easy with great results!5
The oil smells fantastic and is wonderful to use in the dry climate of Colorado. I cannot use it in the morning, however, because it leave my face too greasy.4
The smell and feel are great. I'm still getting used to the Argon oil fad. I have used it on my curly hair and on my dry hands.4
