While picking blackberries in her garden, 100% Pure founder Susie Wang noticed that the fruit stained her skin a beautiful deep red colorand had an epiphany: All-natural pigments could mimic the brilliance of harsh artificial dyes, minus the irritating side effects. Years later, after earning a high-powered degree from Berkeley and spending countless hours in the lab, 100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Mascara was born. Made with antioxidant-rich fruits and veggies, the eco-chic mascara lengthens and fortifies even the sparsest lashes. The water-resistant formula is also perfect for use on sensitive eyes.
I really liked the way this mascara smelled. It doesn't add any volume to your lashes, but it definitely enhances the light/natural makeup look. I wear contact lenses daily & didn't experience any noticeable irritation.5
Goes on light and easy. Does not clump. Does not run. Easy to remove with face cleaner or soap and water. Great smell. Smell goes away though a few weeks after opening tube.4
I love the smell of this mascara, as well as the natural ingredients. However, no matter how much of it I put on, it would never show up on my eyelashes. It looked like I was not wearing any mascara whatsoever.3
This mascara doesn't beat out my favorite, but I do like the fact that it is all-natural, which my current go-to is not. I would be interested in trying other products from this line.5
This mascara was great - easy to apply, smelled nice, and made my lashes super lush - not crispy or clumpy at all! And I love that it's organic!5
At first swipe I loved how smooth this mascara went on. However, within a few hours you could barely tell I had put any on that morning. Not sure why but this doesn't last.2
100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Mascara not only looks good, but smells good too! This mascara stays on all day and is easily removed with a make-up wipe at night. The shape of the brush allows your lashes to get coverage without clumping them together for an enhanced natural look.5
I love the natural ingredients and smell of this mascara (it actually smells like fruit). It's great for someone who wants to darken lashes a little, but not for those times when you want a more dramatic look. The only con is that after a few hours of wearing it, it sometimes smudges onto the lower lids and you look more emo than natural.3
Ok. This stuff is Great!! I love that it is all natural! And the color is rich and very pretty on. I like the applicator as well. Separates lashes beautifully.5
The sample that I have is black and smells fruity, but my Previous Samples page doesn't tell me what 'scent' was included in my box, and I couldn't remember what was listed on the product card. The only 'scents' listed on the product page were Blueberry and Chocolate, so I assumed that those were the only options. Based on those choices, I figured that all mascaras must be tinted black but just scented differently. Bad assumption. In this case, 'scent' = 'color'. I ordered Blueberry, and I ended up with blue mascara. As for my sample? No idea what that is, but it's definitely not Blueberry or Chocolate.
Such a bummer. Loved the sample, but judging by the product page, it looks like they don't sell my color anymore.
