While picking blackberries in her garden, 100% Pure founder Susie Wang noticed that the fruit stained her skin a beautiful deep red colorand had an epiphany: All-natural pigments could mimic the brilliance of harsh artificial dyes, minus the irritating side effects. Years later, after earning a high-powered degree from Berkeley and spending countless hours in the lab, 100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Mascara was born. Made with antioxidant-rich fruits and veggies, the eco-chic mascara lengthens and fortifies even the sparsest lashes. The water-resistant formula is also perfect for use on sensitive eyes.
This stuff wasn't dark enough for me and I like a fatter brush on my mascara wands but I could see some people liking it.4
It's been a very long time since I've tried a new mascara and now I remember why. This was an adorable little sample and although it's not too important I like the idea of using natural skincare products when possible so I though I would give it a whirl. The brush in the sample (not sure about the full size) was a plain straight brush rather than the curved brush I'm used to so it was hard to put on without smudging (I have really long lashes). The product did lengthen my lashes but it went on very thin and did not give the appearance of thicker lashes that I like. Overall I think this product was just ok. I would be willing to try this brand again but for now plan to stick with my tried and true drug store brand mascara.1
I thought this was a little weird until I tried it, but it smells fantastic and worked great for me. It lasted pretty much all day and left my lashes still feeling soft.4
I found that this flaked off in no time at all. Prefer waterproof chemicals.1
I like that it is all natural ingredients and doesn't irritate my eyes. However, the price is a little steep compared to drugstore mascaras that work better to make eyelashes fuller. It was nice to finally receive a sample of mascara to try. It looks natural and doesn't clump.3
I was amazed that fruit is used for the color in this mascara - but I could not get past the smell. It smells like red cold medicine.2
I strongly appreciate natural/organic products- but they've got to legitimately compete with the non-organic alternatives in order for me to consider purchasing. This mascara was messy and overall ineffective at lengthening, thickening, voluminous or any other jobs I look to my mascara to fulfill.2
It was nice to see something made with all natural ingredients, but the outcome was pretty average.3
Smells good, but as for enhancing my eyelashes, I noticed nothing.1
I like this, it's pretty and a great price, but I really love another brand I have right now. So I may try it next.3
