Brooklynites love their artisanal products, and that passion extends to perfume. Handmade in small batches in King’s County, Nomaterra’s fragrances are inspired by the travels of the brand’s founder and come in both traditional bottles and these convenient wipes. We’re fans of these on-the-go versions, which come in two equally lovely scents: East Hampton and Miami.
I like fresh fragrances. This stuff is fresh enough, just a little too strong in my opinion -- quite strong and lemony. However, I wore it yesterday and got a big hug from someone, so it wouldn't consider it offensive.3
Definitely not able to use this as the smell is way too strong. I am someone who LOVES perfume but even this was too much for me.1
These wipes literally saved me from an embarrassing first date situation. I was sitting down and some moron spilt his beer all over me before my date showed up. I freaked out until I remembered I keep a few of these tucked away in my wallet. Used this on all my pressure points and instantly covered any residual post-clean-up beer smell. Plus points for the creators, my date loved how light and feminine it is!5
Why didn't I think of this! I love this product of weekend trips when I don't want to bring a whole bottle of perfume but I still want to smell good.5
I enjoyed the concept of a portable wipe for a fragrance. This wipe makes it easy to pack and not have to worry about spills or any bottles breaking.3
The Miami wipe I got smelled beachy, almost like sun tan lotion, and definitely reminded me of Miami, which is where I'm from. It's a a going out with the girls fragrance, or even a day fragrance. I liked it and plan on wearing it.5
The wipes idea is cool, though I think I prefer a bottle, unless I'm traveling and then it would be very useful to not have to carry your bottle with you. But what really stuck out for me was the fragrance, I really loved it! It's complex, it changes from when I first put it on, and 8 hours later. I get a melony citrusy smell in the beginning, and then the woody notes comes out, which makes this scent deep and very pretty.5
I did not care for the fragrance at all. I do like the packets for travel tough. I sealed back up in a Baggie for reuse.2
I didn't care for the smell, nor did I care for the fact that you can't really reuse these. Seems like a waste of money.2
I love the idea of on the on the go products, but i was not a fan of the scent.3
