Brooklynites love their artisanal products, and that passion extends to perfume. Handmade in small batches in King’s County, Nomaterra’s fragrances are inspired by the travels of the brand’s founder and come in both traditional bottles and these convenient wipes. We’re fans of these on-the-go versions, which come in two equally lovely scents: East Hampton and Miami.
I'd rather carry a little travel size body mist... or one of those roll-ons... this was a little odd... I also didnt really care for my scent...1
I tried this product at a launch party for the DC fragrance, and to be honest none of the scents were for me. They are very strong and overpowering and are reminiscent of smells that should never be considered a perfume i.e. bugspray . The idea behind the product is really creative, but scents are too much.
The concept was great. However, i was not fond of the scent. But, "to each their own".1
I was super excited to try this until I tried it. It smelt horrible! I got the green fragrance and it smelt like alcohol mixed with nasty. I dont even know how to describe it. The concept is nice, its a single wipe drenched in perfume that you wipe on your body. Convenient yes but my smell was gross. Maybe the other options smelled better!1
I rather just carry around my fave body spray in my purse then a towelette. I didnt care for the scent either.1
I just did not like the smell at all. I liked the idea of the packaging and throwing it in my purse for on the go... but the smell is just not that great.1
I think the concept of this product is very unique and interesting, but I really didn't like the scent I received. It smelled musty, and almost like it should have been a man's product.1
Would be a cool idea if the full-size bottle came with a few of these, but as someone who puts on perfume every morning, I can't imagine an instance where I'd switch to a different scent mid-day.1
The fragrance was very strong. I think I would like to just use a regular perfume. The wipe idea was just not effective for me.1
The smell was not for me, reminded me of rubbing alcohol.1
