Brooklynites love their artisanal products, and that passion extends to perfume. Handmade in small batches in King’s County, Nomaterra’s fragrances are inspired by the travels of the brand’s founder and come in both traditional bottles and these convenient wipes. We’re fans of these on-the-go versions, which come in two equally lovely scents: East Hampton and Miami.
The fragrance was nice, but I'd much rather spritz a perfume then wipe it on.1
It's a great idea, but the scent was not for me at all!1
I didn't care for the scent at all. The convenience of the packaging would be a plus. But I totally didn't like it.1
Not only was I completely turned off by the scent, my three year old walked by me and told me I smelled like garbage...awesome... I get the whole convenience factor with a few quick wipes, but how time consuming is it to spritz and actual, good smelling, perfume anyway?1
The smell didnt last long enough for me and about five minutes after application, I couldnt smell it anymore1
I don't use perfume or fragrance on a regular basis and when I do I prefer a light clean crisp scent so this scent was not for me. Scent is a very personalized product and I wouldn't want to deter someone from buying this based on my review. The product itself was convenient and easy to use. Great for travel and last for multiple applications. Wrapping was easy to reseal inside my purse until next use. Highly recommend product for functionality if you like the scent.1
Smelled like bug spray - certainly not for me. I would be willing to try the other ones as they concept was great!1
While this is a great concept with and would be PERFECT for on-the-go and air travel, I just couldn't get past the scent (mine was East Hampton). WAY too citrus-y for me.1
I absolutely hated the smell, it kind of smelt masculine1
First of all, even though I thought I would like the wipe. After I tried it, I realized that if I'm traveling I would have to carry several of them. And once I use it, I'm stuck with the trash to throw away. I prefer the "sample" vials or the roll-ons. Just toss it in your purse and you're done (well, until you run out). As for the scent, I wasn't a fan. It didn't last and I applied generously.1
