Brooklynites love their artisanal products, and that passion extends to perfume. Handmade in small batches in King’s County, Nomaterra’s fragrances are inspired by the travels of the brand’s founder and come in both traditional bottles and these convenient wipes. We’re fans of these on-the-go versions, which come in two equally lovely scents: East Hampton and Miami.
I really like the concept of perfume towelettes, but the Cool Hampton smells like men's cologne. I'm not sure if it's the scent mixed with my body chemicals or what, but I felt odd all day.3
I do not like strong scents or fragraces so this product was not for me.1
I wasn't exactly thrilled with this product in the beginning, but I was pleasantly surprised. It works a lot better than I thought it would, although I probably wouldn't invest in it simply because I didn't like the scent.4
This is a personal preference, but I prefer a whiff of a scent, and I felt that especially in the summer this was a bit strong.1
Ok, I always have issues with my roll-ons spilling a little in my bag, which is so frustrating because I lose product and it's gross to handle. This is totally a great solution!! I wish I'd gotten a chance to try the other scent, but the one I got, East Hampton, I really liked. It starts off strong, but really smooths out quickly. A clean woody floral scent, which is great because I HATE all the generic fruity florals.5
A great idea! After I opened the wipe and used it I stored it under my clothes in the closet to get more out of it. Now my clothes smell great. I love the Miami scent, it smelled fresh and summery.5
I tried this for the first time today and really liked the light scent. I also noticed that it last a very long time. Perfect for a little scent pick me up in the afternoons!5
While the product was okay and the fragrance was nice, I don't like the idea of fragrance wipes. In general, if I have to throw something out after one use, it's not convenient to me :) I'd rather have something I can keep in my purse to use over and over.3
I sampled East Hampton, and it was a strong scent - spicy and a little woodsy; a little much for my taste, but I can imagine some liking it. I'm not sure when the towels would come in handy but a small spray bottle of perfume wouldn't; still, this is an interesting product idea.3
This is a great idea! The package is super tiny and lightweight and wasnt taking over my entire purse like normal fragrance bottles. This is definitely a great idea, i just wish is was a little cheaper since it is only a set of 12 wipes.5
