Brooklynites love their artisanal products, and that passion extends to perfume. Handmade in small batches in King’s County, Nomaterra’s fragrances are inspired by the travels of the brand’s founder and come in both traditional bottles and these convenient wipes. We’re fans of these on-the-go versions, which come in two equally lovely scents: East Hampton and Miami.
I like its scent. I think this idea is interesting.... perfume wipe.. you don't have to bring a bottle of perfume. so you can apply whenever you want even though you forget to put perfume. but, I think it is kinda too much.. one wipe equal to 6 push of perfume.....3
I am very picky about scents, I really only use one fragrance. This didn't do it for me. I like the idea of the wipe, though - that's convenient!2
I wasnt very thrilled to get this fragrance wipe in my box. Im not a fan of fragrances that you cant spray. I tried the sample just to see and I did not like it at all! Not only did I NOT like that it was a cotton swab, I was not fond of the scent either. So the sample as a whole wasnt for me.1
my sample was almost completely dried out but what smell i could get did not smell very good1
Love this scent!!! It is strong at first but a few seconds later it develops into a complex, intoxicating scent. I feel sexy and unique wearing it and my boyfriend actually complemented me on my scent, and he never does. Definitely buying.5
I like the idea of using a wipe for my face, but it normally doesn't make my skin too happy. The fragrance of this one was okay, but I don't use them much.3
I wasn't thrilled by the smell or the level of moisture in these. Aside from the cute packaging, there really isn't anything that great I can say about this product!3
I am a perfume fanatic and have hundreds of perfumes and perfume oils that I love. I love all different types of scents--I'm really not that picky. I tend to love perfumes that have all the notes that Miami has -- pink grapefruit, coconut, jasmine, and sandalwood, so I was excited to try Miami when I got the sample in my Birchbox. However, I hated it. It smells really cheap, and I don't remotely smell any of the notes in the scent description except for the sandalwood, which again, smells like alcohol-laden cheap perfume. It has that weird "woody/papery" scent about it that perfume samples in magazines have. And it doesn't last at all on my skin--30-60 minutes tops, and I have to really sniff my skin close. I don't like it, not for me.1
I really like the convenience and concept behind this product, but I wasn't sold on the fragrance. It was okay- not great but not terrible. It did have staying power though and lasted through a bedroom cleaning session!3
Love the concept of non-breakable fragrance on the go, but I didn't care for the smell at all. Definitely not for me.1
