We know you love diving into samples as much as we do, and the Mystery Sample Pack gives you the chance to try some of our favorite products. Receive two samples for free by spending $35+ on any full-size products from the shop. It includes one deluxe sample and one standard sample that we’re especially excited about right this minute, and here’s the really fun part: Their identities will remain secret until you receive your order. Alternatively, you can purchase this mysterious sample duo on its own for $10.
I received leave in hair conditioner. Only enough for one shampoo. Left my hair feeling great and manageable. My only regret about product wasn't enough to use twice. Not really worth $10, if there's not enough to really try the product2
As a free sample with purchase, this is fine. Mine came with two samples (Grand Central Beauty S.M.A.R.T. Skin Perfecting Serum + Primer and Obliphica Treatment Hair Serum), which by my math are worth about $10-12. I suppose I'd seldom invest $80 in a primer, so it is nice to try it out.2
The haircare samples that I received were great quality! They made my hair feel really soft and more manageable.I I would buy the products individually. However, I was looking forward to a few more samples than the two I received.3
Its great love getting mysterious items in the mail. Its great i always get different things. Everyone should spend 35 youll get 2 mystery items !!!4
Not bad, but I could definitely tell these mystery samples weren't of the higher-end products that I usually receive from BirchBox. However, they were free, so no complaints.3
I would not pay for two samples on their own but like adding this to a qualifying order. I honestly have not been impressed by the samples I have received.3
I was not too impressed with this item. I received two foil packets- one of hair serum and one with lotion. It was fine because it was free. I would have been upset if I paid.2
I received 3 items in my sample pack. But they are too small to experience in just 1 time. Hope that Birchbox can get bigger size, even just 1 item is fine.3
Usually, I love everything that I receive from Birchbox, so I was a little disappointed with my Mystery Sample pack. I understand that it's a bit of a crapshoot, and that in this case I received it for free, but if I had spent $10 on it, I would have been extremely upset.
(1) Color Club Mini Nail polish(.25fl.oz)
(1) Sample packet Obliphica Intensive Leave in Moisturizing Cream(1.01fl.oz.)
A full size (.5fl.oz.) Cloro CLub Polish costs $8.50 here in the BB shop, and the smallest full size of the Cream (9.29fl.oz.)(not available in the BB shop, it seems)
costs $21.99 online.
This brings the value of the Duo to just under $7. Which is a bit disappointing.
The(day-glow orange) nail polish also leaked all over the other sample and the bag they were in.
This is the first less than glowing review I've ever left, and I hope it's the last I will need to write.
Please don't ever pay for this - it's only ever worth it if you get it free. This is the 3rd time I've gotten a mystery sample pack and the first 2 times I got samples that I had received in the past but actually liked so I used them again and was happy. This time I got two tiny conditioner samples (both in the small packages you have to rip open) and neither of them is for my hair type. I think they just throw in whatever they have extras of. Pretty underwhelming when you compare it to the normal fun and excitement of getting a box. But I'm excited about what I actually ordered and didn't pay for this so I won't complain. But the description of "one deluxe sample and one standard sample that we’re especially excited about right this minute" is not accurate at all.3
