We know you love diving into samples as much as we do, and the Mystery Sample Pack gives you the chance to try some of our favorite products. Receive two samples for free by spending $35+ on any full-size products from the shop. It includes one deluxe sample and one standard sample that we’re especially excited about right this minute, and here’s the really fun part: Their identities will remain secret until you receive your order. Alternatively, you can purchase this mysterious sample duo on its own for $10.
I bought something that cost $40, so I added this on. I received a blue headband that I had already received in a monthly Birchbox earlier this year (and which wasn't my style), and the Dr. Jart Micellar Water. I'm more interested in makeup than skincare products, but, the item I bought that cost $40 was a skincare product (a BHA cream from Paula's Choice) so maybe they try to match the samples to what else is in the cart.
I wouldn't have spent $10 for it.
I mean extra samples with my order! What could be better? Birchbox really has it figured out. They know exactly how to hook me on products I would never come into contact with in my everyday life. Thanks, Birchbox!5
I received a blue eyeliner straight from the 80's. I suppose if one has beautiful blue eyes they may be able to make this product work, but I felt it would look terrible with my brown eyes. I cannot complain, however, in that it was a free bonus. Outside of disliking the color, the product seemed of good quality. Beware of mystery products, as they may not meet your color pallet expectations and therefore not work for you. I will re gift this item to a beautiful blue eyed person or someone looking for an 80's theme party.1
i really enjoyed this pack with all the different facial masks. i've been using one per week, and love the results. I especially like the honey one, it makes even my lips feel great. i think a variety of masks is a great way to try each one.3
I don't even remember what came in this sample pack a few months back. I would say it was underwhelming and forgettable. Glad I didn't pay for it.2
I received a tube of Templespa In Good Condition hair conditioner and a nice sized sample of Marcelle waterproof eyeliner in Blue Lagoon. I remember reading that some people got the eye pencil in their monthly boxes and I was jealous. I am so happy to have received that. It looks great smudged along the corners of my upper lash line. And I like the conditioner too. Great size for travel!5
Sample Packs are always a great way to sample multiple items at a reasonable price. This was a no brainer when purchase was made.5
In this pack, I received a bracelet that looked like a garter (I tried using it as as headband, given that it was stretchy, but it was far too tight.) It was an odd "sample," and I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. I threw it out.
The second sample was fabulous. I received an ounce sized bottle of Dr. Jart's microwater, which has been a great post cleansing addition to my regimen.
This is one of those products that shows why it's so important to read the reviews lol. Given that these are free samples, I was absolutely happy with everything I got. It's simply the luck of the draw and completely random. I received a conditioner and a shimmer eye pencil. Worth it if it's free!4
Got a really great headband, but an awful smelling conditioner sample. It made the headband smell pretty awful as well. I have had to wash it several times to get the smell out. Decent add on for free, but wouldn't spend $10 on it, not at all. The headband comes in a set of 3 for only a few dollars more.. Not a great value3
