This ringlet-loving sampler is your chance to try DevaCurl’s innovative curl care system. Each trio includes a creamy lather-free cleanser, a hydrating conditioner, and a lightweight, curl-defining gel. All three work with your hair’s natural texture, so you’re left with soft, shiny spirals without that pesky halo of frizz.
Of the three-step system, the conditioner and styling product are ok, but the no-poo shampoo I do not like. Maybe I'm just a suds girl, but I had to use more than normal to feel clean.1
Not for my thinner curls...left them a bit frizzy and not so curly.1
I was excited about this product, but can't get past the fact that it doesn't lather. I just don't feel like it's cleaning. I do LOVE the other products in the sample though.1
My daughter was very excited to use these samples. The shampoo and conditioner smelled horrible and after putting on the gel when she brushed her hair globs came out (of hair not product). Will not recomend or use again.1
Why would you send this product to someone who, though she does have curly hair, does everything she can so that it doesn't ever look curly, and would never use something to do just the opposite?
I am really starting to regret that I went with the one year membership. It seems that as soon as I did you started shipping me whatever nobody else wants.
eh all I have to say horrible just not for me at all1
I love the scent of the shampoo and conditioner, but after I saw how much product was required to clean my hair (thick and slightly longer than shoulder-length, it normally needs a dime-sized dollop of shampoo and conditioner, and not even that much of Miss Jessie's Jelly Soft), I wasn't so impressed. I tried using a third of the sample, but it just didn't cut it. I used ALL OF IT in the shower. Assuming the gel was also sampled on the same scale, I used all of that, too, and ew and ugh. Maybe if I'd used just a tiny bit, my hair wouldn't be dry, crunchy, and gross. It is holding the curl well, though, and even waved up some of my straight strands. But Miss Jessie's does the same and doesn't make me feel like I need another shower. Blech.
Also, the gel is also scented, but I'm not fond of it. Smells like chemicals. This one's definitely not for me.
I received a sample of the 3 steps in my October box. This was not something I should have gotten. Though I have curly hair, I don't wear it that way. I straighten it. However, I did try the first 2 steps. I was very nervous about it, but went for it. Step 1 smells awful. Step 2 smells like a creme rinse from my childhood. I would never use a gel on my hair so Step 3 goes in the trash. I was pleasantly surprised that my hair was actually clean. I was unpleasantly surprised that it is extremely dry and smells bad.1
The product is good. However, I don't have curly hair so it wasn't the best product for me to use.1
This product worked a little bit I think, either that or I was having a good hair day. But I couldn't get over the scent! All three steps (especially step one) smells so chemical and strong and nasty that I threw it away after one use even though I could have used it another time. Step one, the "no lather" shampoo made my hair feel gross in the shower. I didn't like the feeling of no suds in my hair, and it felt gross and smelled disgusting. The second step smells less nasty, and worked a little better. The third step gave my hair a kind of crunchy look, which is fine but just not my style. Overall I knew that I wouldn't like or buy this product from the moment I opened the first little pack and smelled it.1
