Step away from the harsh, hair-stripping shampoos. Meet No Poo, the “anti shampoo” that has revolutionized how curly girls wash their hair. This creamy lather-free cleanser gently cleanses curls without drying out your hair, so you’re left with soft, shiny spirals without that pesky halo of frizz.
I received this as a sample and I hated it. Maybe it's for people who normally wash their hair daily so that's why people love it, but there's no way I can do that. Also I have colored hair so there is no way I am about to start washing daily. I washed my hair with this, rinsed, washed again, rinsed, washed again and rinsed. When I was doing my hair after, the pieces in the middle felt greasy and the rest of my hair felt dry. I ended up washing again with my normal shampoo. I would never buy nor recommend this product.1
I gave this shampoo a try. I didn't like the fact that it doesn't lather. Felt like my hair wasn't clean. Also didn't notice any improvement in the frizz.1
I loved this at first, smells great. But after a couple days my hair started to have lots of buildup and felt horrible. Didn't feel clean at all.1
It smelled awful. It did absolutely nothing it said it was supposed to do. Worst product ever2
I loved this the first time I tried it, but subsequent washes with it left my hair feeling heavy and not quite clean. I have to work really hard to wash out all of the product from my hair, and I have to use a lot of product (relative to the amount of lathering shampoo I use) because of the lack of lather. Won't buy again, but I might try some of the other DevaCurl products.2
I loved the way this product worked on my naturally curly hair, but I can't get past the smell. It's horrible - enough to knock off 3 stars from my rating. I used this several times in conjunction with Oribe conditioner & styling products (all great smelling products) & this shampoo overpowered ALL of them, even after my hair was dry. I would never consider purchasing this product as long as manufacturer insists on using this scent.2
This didn't really do very much for my hair. I didn't notice a difference after using it for a couple of washes.2
I have frizzy thick hair and this was just another shampoo, I wouldn't buy this and would recommend this, I would choose my $1 drugstore shampoo over this.2
I'm not a fan of cowashes. I don't like the fact that there is no lather and I felt my hair wasn't as clean as when I use a sulfate free shampoo.2
It didn't feel like it actually cleansed my hair of product very well. I couldn't tell if it was weighing down my hair, or if my hair was being weighed down from product build up. It wasn't so bad, so long as I used a more clarifying shampoo a couple times a week. But with my current shampoo, it's good enough to use my clarifying shampoo once a week.2
