Think of this CC cream as your favorite BB cream’s older (and wiser) sister. Like her kid sis, CC moisturizes, primes, brightens, and conceals, but also takes it to the next level by tackling dark spots and uneven skin tone. The result? An even, dewy, youthful finish.
After all day of wear, I went to brush hair from my face while washing dishes and wiped a huge streak from my cheek. Gave it a second and third try but it never seemed to set well with my skin. Any time I would touch my face I'd just wipe it off.
Maybe I'm just doing it wrong, but this stuff would not cooperate. As soon as I started to blend it on my face, it began to peel off. I just kept picking clumps of CC cream off my jaw line! Never again, Pur.1
A friend who had gotten this as a sample in her box gave this to me because she didn't like it, but thought I might. I put it on over my lotion and SPF and it wouldn't stay on my face. It basically curdled with the products I was already wearing, creating a weird, flaky texture. After excessive rubbing, it sort of calmed down. Then I applied a small amount of concealer to a couple of places on my face. The CC cream similarly did not mix well with my concealer, and try as I might I could not get rid of the flaky, peely texture caused by the cream. Also, it is quite cakey and I prefer a more sheer CC cream. All around horrible.1
I used this product for over a month in place of my usual tinted moisturizer. While I appreciated the additional coverage it provided, I found it to be very drying and cakey. It was difficult to blend and made my face feel dirty. It made my complexion look dry and unhealthy looking. Needless to say I went back to my old product.1
I found myself falling in love with this product. Not sure how I ever went with out. I love how it evens out my skin tone1
For some reason when I use this it makes my skin look very blotchy and uneven. It was very difficult to blend. Also, it sort of smells like potatoes. I will not be purchasing this.1
I used this before putting on my pd foundation and my skin felt silky covered up my unevenness. will definitely buy!1
Made my skin look too waxy. The color also did not match, although I have medium skin tone. It was too dark.1
I found this CC Cream to be very heavy and difficult to blend. The Medium was also too dark for my skin, yet my skin would be too dark for the Light shade of this cream. I prefer BB Creams, they are much lighter and more blendable!1
I was very excited to try a CC cream and was disappointed. It just seemed like a foundation. Also, I got it too close to my eyes and it irritated them badly. I washed my face & tossed the sample in the trash.1
