Think of this CC cream as your favorite BB cream’s older (and wiser) sister. Like her kid sis, CC moisturizes, primes, brightens, and conceals, but also takes it to the next level by tackling dark spots and uneven skin tone. The result? An even, dewy, youthful finish.
I really liked this product but it's pretty heavy if you plan to put a foundation or concealer over it.3
I wouldn't say that I love this product, but I wouldn't say that I hate it... I use BB cream by Dr.Jart+ and I'm really happy with it. But, I thought I should give the CC cream a try. It didn't work as well as my usual BB cream and it didn't blend well.3
This product seemed great in theory. The SPF is awesome and I require it in my cosmetics. However, it smells a LITTLE too much like sunscreen and the color I received was fairly off from my natural skin tone. This and the fact that it is hard to "rub in" made for streaks left behind and a strange ghost face :).3
This CC cream wasn't bad, but it didn't do anything special for me either. I'm happy to have the sample and I do like the SPF, but I prefer the one that I currently use.3
I don't think I got the right color for my skin tone and was thinking about purchasing it, under a different color, but the price is making me change my mind.
it was ok, but I would prefer it to be a little cheaper.
I think this product does a great job of brightening and priming, however I have really dark circles under my eyes and need something a little more intense to help me out.3
I've tried quite a few multitasking creams, and all I can say is blah. Absolutely nothing stood out about this CC for me.
It seemed really thin, especially considering the high SPF. It was not very moisturizing, which in my case is good because I have oily skin and don't need the heaviness. In terms of a primer, I had to apply powder over it and was still oily all day. As for skin improvement, a sample size wasn't enough to notice a difference.
On the positive side, it doesn't have that typical sunscreen odor and the color (light) blended in well.
The formulation is decent and I am happy with the level of SPF. The deal breaker for me is that the coverage isn't buildable. After applying three layers in areas where I need heavier coverage, there was no difference.3
This is the 2nd or 3rd CC/BB cream I've tried. In theory I love it, a multi-purpose cream that does 50 million things is great. But for me the result is always the same: Great coverage for 2/3 of the day, then my eczema begins to rear its itchy head and I must spot fix. The color is great, coverage is great, and I love the high SPF and lack of bad ingredients + it does give my face a flawless, dewy even finish which is great. BUT I just can't get pass the tacky, sticky feeling I get after application. I found mineral powder foundations many years ago and have never turned back to liquid foundations. CC and BB creams always seem to make me feel like I'm literally wearing a mask like a mannequin. If I even touch my face, I feel like I've rubbed some of it off. Great coverage, great look, but doesn't feel right for me. I would save this for winter time when I need the heavy coverage if I were to use it. I will consider this....3
I have yet to find the best BB/CC cream. This cream felt too heavy for my skin. I prefer one that's more like a moisturizer and not cake-y.3
