Think of this CC cream as your favorite BB cream’s older (and wiser) sister. Like her kid sis, CC moisturizes, primes, brightens, and conceals, but also takes it to the next level by tackling dark spots and uneven skin tone. The result? An even, dewy, youthful finish.
I wore this hiking and it did a fantastic job of protecting my skin from the sun. It works well as a concealer as well and does a good job blending. My main issue with it is was that it wears kinda heavy, and left my skin feeling greasier than I would want. I did have some minor acne breakouts after using this, and would prefer to wear something lighter/less oily feeling.3
I loved the idea of a cc' cream, and this one seems really nice, but I have really sensitive skin and this made my face break out almost instantly.3
I love this CC Cream! Most CC/BB creams give me too much moisture and not enough coverage. This one was perfect. A little goes a long way. It's great for a quick morning routine. I wish there were more color options. I am probably somewhere in between 'light' and 'medium', but it's close enough.5
I'm a big fan of CC and BB creams (in fact, they've become an obsession with me...kinda like kids and Pokemon - gotta try 'em all!) This one was really nice, very hydrating, smelled nice, and nicely color-balancing - everything that a good CC cream is supposed to be. I do, however, have a full-sized version of another brand with which I'm very happy - and when it's gone, I actually plan to purchase a full-size of another CC that I got in sample form from Birchbox a while back (and LOVED). So - this was nice, and I liked it, but it's just standing in a queue with the rest!4
I have acne prone skin so I'm always a bit concerned about trying new products, particularly cream-based ones. I currently use a primer specifically for acne prone skin and don't stray from it; however, this CC was surprisingly gentle (considering all of the "jobs" that a CC cream has!) and did not cause further breakouts. It added nice moisture without being clogging, and also gave a tad extra coverage. Who doesn't love that?!4
I don't use foundation or BB/CC creams, so I don't really know what this is like compared to other ones... I did use this once just to see what it was like, and it is very light (texture, not color), which I think is a good thing.4
I am firm believer in Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer so it would take a lot to get me to change but that being said, I really did enjoy this product. I love that fact that it has some sun protection built in. I have freckles so protecting my skin is important to me! The feel was a bit heaver than my Laura Mercier so I'd say if you are looking fora little more coverage, go for it!4
The product was really difficult to smooth on, and I felt like it accentuated wrinkles on my face. I know people rave about BB and CC cream, but I'm not that into it. Maybe I'm doing something wrong??2
I liked that it was very light on my skin. Unfortunately it is summertime and the color was too off for my skin color. I do like that it is a high SPF.
I dont EVER wear concealer, but figured I'd give it a try anyways. Wow was I impressed. Covers totally evenly!! No perfumey smell at all.5
