Think of this CC cream as your favorite BB cream’s older (and wiser) sister. Like her kid sis, CC moisturizes, primes, brightens, and conceals, but also takes it to the next level by tackling dark spots and uneven skin tone. The result? An even, dewy, youthful finish.
I am a CC cream junkie as of late and was excited to try another skin brightening product. Purminerals is not one of my favorite brands, however I was happy with this product. It is not as good as other CC creams I have/have tried, however it was wonderful as a sun protectant and for a light coverage. My sample was not large enough to really see the color correcting effects.4
This cc cream is very very dark even in the lightest color. it does not match me at all.1
As I applied this (medium), I was afraid that the color was too grey and dark for my skin. Once it soaked in, though, I found it to be a surprisingly good match for my light-medium skin. It wore well, didn't feel heavy, and gave nice coverage.4
I gave this to my 55 year old mother because shes been wanting to use a cc cream for awhile now, Shes in love with it. It covered a lot of her age spots and smoothed out her line very well. My mother is very young looking for her age to begin with but with using this product you can really tell a difference on her skin!5
This product was a little too heavy for my taste (I normally even out my skin tone with a light mineral powder), but it was a fantastic concealer and my sensitive skin had no adverse reaction.4
I thought the color on this product was great (I am very fair and the light color blended in well with my skin tone). However, it was a little denser/thicker than I usually like to wear on my face (maybe this is just personal preference). I do like the SPF factor, though.3
Because this product has SPF 40 in it, it is a little thick. That didn't, however, change how I liked it. It still had effective coverage and made my skin look great. It didn't feel too heavy when I put it on. I think it would be a perfect summertime product for a girl that spends a lot of time outside.5
I really wanted to like this since I already got hooked on BB creams and naturally CC is next. However, try as I did to blend with my foundation brush, this cream did NOT smooth into my skin. It was very obvious I was wearing makeup, and it wasn't as much the wrong shade as it was that the formula just didn't blend well. Too bad, I wanted to love it!3
CC cream is more suited for the winter due to its higher moisturizing product content as well as its thicker composition. While the high SPF is a nice bonus, sweating through this product is unpleasant. Back into the bag of samples until a winter ski trip, perhaps?3
This product smelled strongly of sunscreen and was very moisturizing but sadly did not cover my blemishes well, and I think actually caused my pores to become clogged because my face started breaking out after. I wish this worked for me, but I will stick to Dr. Jart.2
