Think of this CC cream as your favorite BB cream’s older (and wiser) sister. Like her kid sis, CC moisturizes, primes, brightens, and conceals, but also takes it to the next level by tackling dark spots and uneven skin tone. The result? An even, dewy, youthful finish.
Because this product has SPF 40 in it, it is a little thick. That didn't, however, change how I liked it. It still had effective coverage and made my skin look great. It didn't feel too heavy when I put it on. I think it would be a perfect summertime product for a girl that spends a lot of time outside.5
I really wanted to like this since I already got hooked on BB creams and naturally CC is next. However, try as I did to blend with my foundation brush, this cream did NOT smooth into my skin. It was very obvious I was wearing makeup, and it wasn't as much the wrong shade as it was that the formula just didn't blend well. Too bad, I wanted to love it!3
CC cream is more suited for the winter due to its higher moisturizing product content as well as its thicker composition. While the high SPF is a nice bonus, sweating through this product is unpleasant. Back into the bag of samples until a winter ski trip, perhaps?3
This product smelled strongly of sunscreen and was very moisturizing but sadly did not cover my blemishes well, and I think actually caused my pores to become clogged because my face started breaking out after. I wish this worked for me, but I will stick to Dr. Jart.2
I would wear this to the pool, but not if I'm going somewhere that I need coverage. My face felt a bit oily and it smelled more like sunscreen.3
I think this product was too heavy on my face. I tend to get really oily around my t-zone, especially in the summer and would prefer to use something lighter that doesn't add to the shine.1
Im not an expert on CC creams, and this one I had to figure out once I got in in my July box. I got medium which was pretty close, but the tone was a little off. At first it was way thicker than I thought and kind of difficult to blend in (I was trying to use a foundation brush). The second day I used WAY less and blended in with my fingertips. I added a dusting of powder to my face after to make it more matte. Overall I liked it and it stayed on pretty well in the Georgia summer heat. It covered any imperfections I didnt want to show and I think its a great alternative to traditional foundation.3
I liked the product, but living in the South with all of the humidity and being very hot I did not like the creaminess. I would probably like it better for the winter time!5
not really into the whole cc cream but if i was i would go for this3
at first I used way too much product, it didn't look like the right shade (way too light) and it felt thick and heavy. Kind of made me shiny but after it absorbs for a few minutes it looked and felt better. I like the spf factor. I did not like that it settles into fine wrinkles. I am now appling it more sparingly and finishing with a powder.3
