Think of this CC cream as your favorite BB cream’s older (and wiser) sister. Like her kid sis, CC moisturizes, primes, brightens, and conceals, but also takes it to the next level by tackling dark spots and uneven skin tone. The result? An even, dewy, youthful finish.
This is nice if you're looking for more from your BB Cream. I have a product I like, so I wouldn't switch to this, but it is a nice option and goes on very smoothly.3
I don't get the CC or BB cream craze. I notice very little difference when I add any of these products to my standard moisturizer and foundation routine. I don't typically use a standard primer, but when I do, it works similar to this product. That being said, this product is nicely tinted and I imagine would work well for most skin types (I have fair skin with pink undertones). It does moisturize, and works well when I'm running late or traveling and don't want to use both a moisturizer and foundation. It smells pleasant, goes on light, and doesn't clog my pores.3
I did not like this cream, I did not like the way it looked or felt on my face.1
This product is the wrong color tone for my skin - it's too pink and I'm more of a yellow undertone so it totally didn't work from that aspect. It is a bit heavy, but might be ok if the color was right.2
I really like this cream. It goes on simple and gives
the skin a slight glow. I feel it evens out my skin tone. It's a little thick till it dries, but once it does you forget its on. Use a applicator sponge or brush when applying since it does have a tint to it.
With oily combination skin..this product is HORRIBLE. Put it on and immediately wanted to take it off. Thick, creamy and made my skin look like an oil slick.1
First of all, I have to say that I have medium skin tone and the sample that was sent to me was the light. That being said, I still thought this CC cream was too heavy and thick. Was very hard to blend, and felt heavy on my skin. I think the fact that it was too light and I could not get it to blend enough to not look streaky might have been a factor also.1
My biggest complaint with bb/cc creams is that many of them don't go on very smoothly, but this one seemed to apply quite nicely. I found that I did have to blend it in a little more than the bb cream I normally use. But it helped to brighten up my face, which was especially nice since I have been sick and looking pallid for the past few days.4
I am still new to the world of cc creams. I don't even use foundation and this felt like foundation to me. It was kind of heavy and cakey and I felt like I only used a little bit as a little bit goes a LONG way!2
Not really all that happy with this product, it was too dark for my skin, I am pretty fair. I tried it anyway and it felt like I had a greasy face. Not for me.2
