Think of this CC cream as your favorite BB cream’s older (and wiser) sister. Like her kid sis, CC moisturizes, primes, brightens, and conceals, but also takes it to the next level by tackling dark spots and uneven skin tone. The result? An even, dewy, youthful finish.
Not for me. CC creams and all of their friends (BB, DD) make my face break out. This one was no exception. It was also too oily for my liking.1
This is my first time using a CC cream (because I think the idea is a gimmick), but I was pleasantly surprised with it. It had medium coverage, gave me a dewy look, and didn't smell terrible. I would buy it if it wasn't for the huge price tag!!4
I normally use BB cream and love it so much more than the foundation days, but after using this product I have found that I love it even more!4
omg, I have been searching for a good CC cream and I think I have found it! a tiny bit goes a long way, I used a pea sized amount the first time and that was way too much! So this product will last a long time for sure. I love that it's SPF 40!!!5
It's pretty average for what it does. I wouldn't say its amazing. I've got a drugstore foundation that does all the things it claims to do. Although it does do well with dark spots. I didn't have any on my face so I tried it on a dark scar I have on my hand and it did cover it very nicely without looking too caked on. So I'm sure it would work great for pimple scars etc.4
I tried this CC cream for three days. It is much thicker than the normal BB cream I use, which I didn't mind because the coverage was nice and it didn't feel heavy on. I tried the "Light" color and it may have been too light for even my fair skin. Not sure I'm ready to leave my BB cream though.3
I am very pale with cool undertones. The "Light" shade was a little too yellow for me. It also doesn't have a lot of coverage. I will keep it around for if I get a tan on my face, though.4
It was ok. Its really thick and ok if you're into BB creams. I feel like birchbox is constantly sending BB creams (or CC creams, whatever). They're all kinda the same. It has a foundation-type consistency, thick, without the coverage of a foundation. The one thing I did like about this one is it gave that "dewy" look after using... but on some skin types that could be seen as oily and shiny, so be careful. I can see why some would really like it, it's ok, nothing to jump up and down about.3
This is my first experience with a CC cream. Overall, it was a decent but not great product. Definitely liked it better than the couple of BB creams that I have tried. Pros: Good coverage, good SPF factor, and did not make my very sensitive skin break out. Cons: Felt heavy on my face, totally washed me out, and also melted off my face with even just a tiny bit of sweat. I think I will stick with my standby, Jouer Luminizing Moisture Tint.2
This seems like a good product but I tend to shy away from BB & CC creams unless I dilute them with moisturizer because I cannot seem to find the correct shade!3
