Think of this CC cream as your favorite BB cream’s older (and wiser) sister. Like her kid sis, CC moisturizes, primes, brightens, and conceals, but also takes it to the next level by tackling dark spots and uneven skin tone. The result? An even, dewy, youthful finish.
This color was a little too dark..or just off, for my skin tone. I dont usually wear a cover up or corrective cream, so it also felt a bit heavy for me.2
This seems to be a good CC cream, I have been trying to find one that is not super oily, this blends in well with my skin. My only complaint is that I do not like the way it smells3
It's thick and feels a bit like sunscreen but it's super easy. Wonderful to use when you just want to put it on and go. Can't say I see much of a change in 'fixing' my skin.3
This is the second BB/CC cream I've ever found that was not too dark (Dr. Jart's water infused also works on me). However, I still believe in layering products to an extent. These BB/CC creams aren't my one-stop-shop like they profess to be. I view them as suped up foundations, but I still need moisturizer and concealer.4
I have been using tinted moisturizer for years so I am familiar with this product. This one offers the best coverage I have seen. It definitely requires a powder afterwards as it leaves you looking a bit dewy.5
i usually will not wear a moisturizer because they seem to be heavy, but this is nice and light and I like that you can pick a skin tone for it!3
Good concept, but it went on pretty thick and smelled like sunscreen as well. Personally, I hate the feeling and smell of sunscreen so not the product for me!2
My first time using this CC cream was unplanned - I was getting ready for a way-to-early flight and realized I'd packed my Bare Minerals already. Not wanting to dig through my carry-on, I dabbed this cream under my eyes, along my nose, on my chin, and then tapped it outward and sort of patted the remainder on my fingers across my forehead and cheeks -- all total, I used maybe the size of a dime worth of product. It spreads easily and is really dewy. I have very light skin with pink undertones and it was a really good match for me.
When I got off the flight 6 hours later, I expected to see cakey skin but it held up! And I wore it for the rest of the day. That night, 14 hours after putting the cream on, it was a bit worn off from the day, but still not flaky, cracked, or greasy.
I've worn it twice since and had the same great results, so I'm totally sold on buying the full size now! Surprisingly, the sample size is still about half full too - perfect for my travel bag.
The first day I wore this I had coworkers complimenting my skin. It evened out my skin tone and gave me a natural finish. It isn't too heavy or anything like that. It felt great on my skin.5
It was nice, but you really have to let it dry completely before putting makeup on over it. Otherwise, you get a weird, uneven look. But alone, it was great.4
