Think of this CC cream as your favorite BB cream’s older (and wiser) sister. Like her kid sis, CC moisturizes, primes, brightens, and conceals, but also takes it to the next level by tackling dark spots and uneven skin tone. The result? An even, dewy, youthful finish.
The shade matches my skin tone perfectly. The cream has a nice texture and is easy to blend. I only gave 4/5 stars because the packaging is TERRIBLE. When I can get the cream out to use it it's awesome. It's in a tube so you think it's only natural that you will have to unscrew the top to squeeze out the amount you want. Instead, there is a pump at the end. So I find myself having to keep the tube upside down (so the cream is toward the pump as much as possible) then squeezing while I pump. TOO many steps. And the sticker on the tube with the label of what it contains is also coming off. Only had for 3 weeks, if that.4
Worked great at covering and evening out my skin tone, but it made my skin feel dry and does pretty much the same thing my primer does for me.4
It had great coverage, a little went a long way but it was a bit too thick for me. I really want light weight makeup and this just felt too thick, like actual sunscreen on my face. Otherwise was great.3
I am just not a fan of CC creams in general...so take this with a grain of salt. Great SPF though.1
I live in Florida and its super hot. As soon as I stepped outside I could see the product drip down the side of my face. Maybe if it lasted through hot weather I would buy it. However I did like that it was light and not smelly.1
This stuff was all right, but not great. I definitely wouldn't spend the money on it. I think the color was too light and it didn't even conceal very much. I'm sure the SPF works, but that's irrelevant. It also did not moisturize. I prefer a good BB cream, personally and I recommend the Dr. Jarts brand.3
I like the idea of this product: moisterizer, spf, primer and foundation all in one. The product is thick so it did not go on smoothly. The second time I put it one I used a light lotion first and it blended a little better but I still need to use a liquid foundation brush to get it to blend into my skin. The other issue is that you only get 1.7 ounces for almost $40.4
it was nice, but i'd rather use foundation for more coverage4
This CC cream was okay, the smell is a little weird and takes some getting used to, but the coverage is light and pretty weightless. However, I wore it work a few times as a replacement for my regular makeup, and by noontime my whole face felt really greasy, this product does not do well in humidity at all.3
I had the opportunity to use the sample I received on a trip to the deep South (ok, maybe Memphis is not the deep South, but it's close). Through-the-roof humidity and heat did not faze this product. The goop stayed put, I didn't break out, and it looked pretty natural on my skin. Bonus: the sample was perfectly travel-sized! I didn't have to pack any makeup, really, other than the mascara, liner, and favorite lip gloss. Yes to simplicity.5
