When we sampled Beauty Protector's original Protect & Detangle spray, it became an instant fan favorite. Thanks to your overwhelmingly positive feedback, Beauty Protector went ahead and developed this Protect & Conditioner for an exclusive early launch with Birchbox. It's designed to shield hair from the effects of heat styling and environmental damage with the help of pearl powder. (Conchiolin, a major ingredient of pearls, acts like the protein keratin, the main component of hair.) This conditioner is also packed with nutrients that up hair's volume and shine.
Did not even foam up. I can't say I've ever had that happen. I won't use this again1
I know so many people gave this product a great review, but I am one of the few people who thought this was a terrible product! The shampoo and conditioner left my hair a tangled mess, even after blow drying and straightening it. It left a heavy, matte finish on my hair! I couldn't even run my fingers through my hair. I was so surprised that I tried these product twice and yet there was no magical experience like the majority of people seem to be experiencing.1
I don't normally use conditioner, so this product is not for me. I have thin, fine hair and conditioner tends to make it flat and hard to manage.1
This product did nothing new or different to my hair.1
It made my hair feel like I poured glue in it after drying. I added no other products after cleansing and conditioning before blow drying. I had to rewash my hair.
This product claims to be vegan, however one of the main ingredients is conchiolin. Conchiolin is a protein produced by molluscs and so this product is NOT vegan1
This has no smell at all, and did nothing for my hair! It's like the no name stuff you get in a hotel room! It's awful!1
Sample very small - did not leave my hair soft - I actually got my regular conditioner our and used it1
I felt Pantene was probably better or maybe equivalent to this condition. I need more moisture and it helped a little with detangling but not worth wasting your money on unless you want vegan products.1
I have very long, thick, dry hair and this did not do the job. It was just enough for one wash and left my hair still dry and very dificult to comb. I usually use a sulfate free shampoo/conditioner and this did not compare.1
