When we sampled Beauty Protector's original Protect & Detangle spray, it became an instant fan favorite. Thanks to your overwhelmingly positive feedback, Beauty Protector went ahead and developed this Protect & Conditioner for an exclusive early launch with Birchbox. It's designed to shield hair from the effects of heat styling and environmental damage with the help of pearl powder. (Conchiolin, a major ingredient of pearls, acts like the protein keratin, the main component of hair.) This conditioner is also packed with nutrients that up hair's volume and shine.
That's what it felt like after I used this product. It might be great for people with limp hair, but it did AWFUL things for my long, thick hair.1
Although the fragrance wasn't bad it was overpowering. Didn't feel that the product lived up to its hype. Left my hair feeling dirty and lifeless.1
This conditioner is not for the thick or curly haired ladies. It didn't do much at all to moisturize my curls.1
This product doesn't leave my hair feeling conditioned. It is still tangled and not soft after I rinse it out.1
I wanted to like this conditioner, as I did the shampoo. I received both in my May Birchbox and followed the directions to a tee. However, when my hair was wet and I was done showering, it was left unmanageable. The tangles and mats were horrible, and I had to use some major detangling agents to calm it down. I was hoping for at least some decent shine and luster after it dried, but it fell short again. My hair looked frizzy, dead and just overall very dull. I wouldn't recommend this product.1
This product, and the corresponding shampoo, are much too strongly scented for my preferences. I'm not particularly sensitive to smell but these are too much for me. The scent lingers throughout the day, and is very cloying. The texture of the product seems okay.1
As with the shampoo, I found this product to be not for my curly, dry hair. It was soft and silky in the shower, but on rinsing, it ALL rinsed out and my hair still felt horrid. Might be good for normal to oily hair, but it was definitely not for me. Sample bottle was only about half full. Just a normal conditioner, nothing special.1
I used this on my hair and every time I had to put a separate leave in conditioner on my hair just to comb through it. My hair did not feel softer or protected after using this.1
I feel like I am the only person that does not case for this brand at all. This did nothing for my hair. After i used it and did my hair I had to rewash and condition because it felt awful almost worse than before I washed it. I keep trying this brand but it never seems to pan out for me.1
Another conditioner... Wish we would get some exciting products. I'm tired of the same shampoo and conditioner every month.1
