When we sampled Beauty Protector's original Protect & Detangle spray, it became an instant fan favorite. Thanks to your overwhelmingly positive feedback, Beauty Protector went ahead and developed this Protect & Conditioner for an exclusive early launch with Birchbox. It's designed to shield hair from the effects of heat styling and environmental damage with the help of pearl powder. (Conchiolin, a major ingredient of pearls, acts like the protein keratin, the main component of hair.) This conditioner is also packed with nutrients that up hair's volume and shine.
I'm not a fan of the scent of this product and it didn't work well for detangling my hair.1
It's a good conditioner but I prefer sulfates in my hair products1
I didn't feel that this product was effective at all. The consistency was fairly thin, and I didn't feel like I got good coverage with application. It didn't have a noticeable effect on shine or softness, so to me this was a bust. The smell was good, but that's about it.1
It's a great conditioner but way to expensive to purchase.1
Felt good, but didn't wash all out - left my full long hair feeling like I had product in it still, even though I rinsed for a while.1
It did not condition my hair good but it smelled nice1
It did not perform all too well in my hair. I was not a fan of the scent. It left my hair needing a leave in conditioner.1
As a caveat, I have a lot of very thick hair. The conditioner unfortunately didn't moisturize or soften my hair. I like when conditioner allows me to run my fingers through my hair with no knots. I like when conditioner goes on thick. This didn't do either of those things with me.
I think it is definitely worth a try for people with less full hair.
Smells amazing, but I feel like this conditioner would cause a lot of build up if used regularly. I have dry, curly hair, so I need all the moisture I can get. But sometimes, moisturizing conditioners weigh my hair down, like this one did. For my hair, this was not the best.1
The conditioner is okay, but I prefer the repair oil by the same brand!:)1
