When we sampled Beauty Protector's original Protect & Detangle spray, it became an instant fan favorite. Thanks to your overwhelmingly positive feedback, Beauty Protector went ahead and developed this conditioner for an exclusive early launch with Birchbox. It's designed to shield hair from the effects of heat styling and environmental damage with the help of pearl powder. (Conchiolin, a major ingredient of pearls, acts like the protein keratin, the main component of hair.) This conditioner is also packed with nutrients that up hair's volume and shine.
Nothing special not worth the price. The scent is really nice but you are just paying for that.1
Again, loved the smell, but not the product. I felt there was a lot of residue left in my hair after rinsing, so I would not purchase this product.1
I always get a little excited when I see hair products in my BB, but I have to say this product left me underwhelmed. It truly did nothing for my hair. In fact, if anything, my hair felt pretty limp the few days I used it. I have mostly straight, thick hair with a minor wave, so perhaps this product is better suited for a different hair type.1
the smell is too strong. it's just ok product. I will use the sample up to see if i change my mind on it1
I have never had a bad experience with any brand of conditioner until this one. My hair is still sticky and stiff after washing and conditioning with Beauty shampoo and conditioner this morning. Don't know if it was the shampoo that was so bad or the conditioner or a combo of both. Either way, I won't use the rest of my sample or buy this. Garner $4 conditioner (or any other conditioner really) works MUCH better!!!1
I don't think this product was for me- too heavy for me.1
As with the shampoo, I didn't like this product. I washed, conditioned and dried/styled my hair using sh&con. It felt like I had a residue in my hair, so much so that I jumped back in the shower to redo the whole process (this is saying a lot because it takes almost an hour to wash, cond, dry/style my hair). I was not pleased and will not be trying again to find out if it was the sham, cond or both. The smell was also displeasing to me.1
I have short hair on the oily side so I don't use a lot of conditioner. I poured out my normal amount and cried when I got out of the shower. It didn't detangle my hair. The next day I used a larger amount. Now came the smell. I didn't care for the sweet candy like smell of it at all. Even using the larger amount my hair was tangled and not easily combed out. It also made my oily hair look brittle and dry. I found this product to be so bad (with it's sister shampoo) I am throwing them away before finishing.1
I like the conditioner better than the shampoo. It moisturizes as it claims but the scent is what kills me. It makes me feel nauseous. Too sweet and musky~~
As with the shampoo, this conditioner may be very effective, but I cannot get past the overwhelming scent of all of these products from the BP line. If you love warm vanilla, this may be a perfect match. Not for me.1
