When we sampled Beauty Protector's original Protect & Detangle spray, it became an instant fan favorite. Thanks to your overwhelmingly positive feedback, Beauty Protector went ahead and developed this Protect & Conditioner for an exclusive early launch with Birchbox. It's designed to shield hair from the effects of heat styling and environmental damage with the help of pearl powder. (Conchiolin, a major ingredient of pearls, acts like the protein keratin, the main component of hair.) This conditioner is also packed with nutrients that up hair's volume and shine.
Again I really loved the smell of this and it felt as if it really moisturized my hair, but with the shampoo as drying as it was for my hair I don't think this conditioner did a lot of good. Again, not worth over $20 a bottle unfortunately :(3
The conditioner smelled great! It really moisturized my hair and left it very manageable.5
I was really excited to receive this since I use the detangler daily. But the shampoo doesn't really get sudsy so I felt like I had to use a TON for it to be effective, and the conditioner didn't seem to condition more than a much cheaper one. I didn't love, and at this price, not for me.2
I wanted to like this more than I did. It was fine overall, but for the price I want amazing, not fine.3
I love this brand's detangler, so I was hopeful for the conditioner. Sadly, it left my hair flat and dull. Not for me!3
I was so happy to see the Beauty Protector again! I loved the spray from the previous box so I had a feeling I would love the conditioner. It smells great and makes my hair soft and moisturized.5
I enjoy all of the products from this line. They smell great and are very gentle. My hair certainly felt moisturized and was shinier after using the conditioner!3
Not a fan of this brand, but I liked the travel size bottles which would be good for trips when you're hair usually takes a break and/or a beating -- depending on where you're going!3
I have very long, very thick, somewhat coarse hair and using a good conditioner makes a huge difference. My hair felt filmy after I dried it -- not sure if that was from the conditioner or the shampoo (same brand) that I used, but I didn't care for it. My hair was reasonably easy to comb through but I can use other brands that do the same thing, and for far less money.3
I don't really understand why I'd need a conditioner this expensive, but it's fine, it conditions. Smells pretty good, but nothing special.3
