We usually reach for coffee when our sleep-deprived brains need a little energy boost— when we need to revive our tired tresses, we make a beeline for amika’s Perk Up Dry Shampoo. The weightless spray absorbs excess oil and dirt, leaving locks clean and deodorized as well as lighter and softer. Plus, it can be used on color-treated hair.
I use a lot of dry shampoo and I did not like this one. It left a white residue on my hair and on my clothes..Noticeable enough that people point it out, "what is that white on your pants or shirt?" I did not find this dries up grease on day 2 hair or even volumizea/texturizers hair which I often use dry shampoo for on fresh styles..1
My hair tends to get oily and wished down by the end of the day so I sprayed some on one night. I noticed no difference. My hair was still oily.1
I personally did not like this product and the way it made my hair feel. I was in a rush one morning and didn't have time to do my hair and thought I'd give it a try but it's a NO-GO for me.1
I just am an everyday hair washer but I thought I would give it a try. It left my hair feeing more heavy and oily than before I used it.1
It didn't 'stink' or anything like that, but it smelled like the teen deodorant body spray that we all probably used after gym class when we were 16.
I didn't do anything to help make my hair feel 'revived.' All it did was spray the nostalgic sent of middle school beauty products in my hair.
It's weird having shampoo spray out of a can. yes it smelt good not sure it actually cleaned my hair, did make it a little softer. i don't see the point in this id rather know that my hair is clean and just wash it in the shower. conditioner on the other hand would be great in a can. Also when i was spraying this on my hair it left white marks in my hair, didn't see it at first but i guess as it settled you could see it. not cool when your going out. Someone mentioned it to me and I had to go to the bathroom and put water in my hair to get the white out. Not a good product.1
Just not for me. I need water to wash my hair. I did't think it felt clean after I used it.1
It did not absorb oil very easily, the shampoo left a white powder that was not easy to remove. My hair did not appear clean. I had to wash my hair even after applying.1
Why would anyone want to put perfume on their hair to mask the oily smelly hair. I prefer washing my hair instead...1
some of the pros and cons are. this did make such a big difference to notice for me. the size sample was very generous.1
