Think of this dry shampoo as a shot of espresso for your strands. The weightless spray absorbs excess oil and dirt, leaving locks clean and deodorized as well as lighter and softer. Made with antioxidant and fatty acid-rich obliphica oil, the formula simultaneously moisturizes and strengthens hair, repairs split ends, and enhances shine. Moreover, amika's dry shampoo relies on rice starch instead of aluminum shavings or talc, and it's safe for color-treated hair.
I've tried this brand before, the scent for this particular product was just gross. Not a fan, and wouldn't give the left over to my worst enemy.1
This dry shampoo does not take the oil out of my hair. I sprayed a very generous amount in my hair, and still my hair was oily. I will not be purchasing this product in the future.1
very nice product i will purchase in futurefrom birchbox1
I was anxious to try this! The can is so pretty. I have very long, light blond highlighted hair. This made my hair very dry and almost grey looking. It even left a major white powdered area on my forhead from the overspray. If you are old enough to remember the original dry shampoo called "Pssssst" then that is exactly what this is like...except this is about 4x more expensive. My hair actually felt more dried-out and dirtier after i used this. At first i thought i liked the scent while spraying it on but after an hour or so the dry-down smelled very baby-powdery. I kept smelling a smell like old lady perfume while i was out shopping and then it dawned on me it was my hair; or better yet this dry shampoo's scent. I received a sample of the Klorane dry shampoo in a prev BBox and it was fantastic. If it was a 10, this is a 1.1
Keeps hair wet and doesn't actually help clean or reduce oil. Makes hair noticeably dirtier.1
After reading how to use this product, it still leave a white (powder like) mess in my roots. Watched instructional videos on how to do it, and still got the same results. The only good side to this it smells great, but that's all. And of course the can designs it's very cute.1
this did nothing for my hair, my hair felt even grosser after using1
Great scent and great feel.. Worked very well.. My hair felt fresh and clean1
Nice smell, from the reviews it would appear it works well. It seems like Birchbox and Ipsy switch off sending dry shampoos each month. I don't use the stuff in the first place - I prefer to, y'know, actually *wash* my hair - so I don't use them.1
My hair is super fine, oily and dark (almost black). I typically have to wash my hair every day because of how oily my scalp becomes throughout the day.
I tried this on a Saturday since I knew I wouldn't need to go anywhere, I sprayed the roots lightly and massaged in and you could see the white residue. The entire day my hair felt weighed down and dirty, I couldn't wait to wash it, so I caved in and washed it before leaving the house.
I'm sure this product works great for others, but not on my type of hair.
