Think of this dry shampoo as a shot of espresso for your strands. Made with antioxidant and fatty acid-rich obliphica oil, this weightless spray simultaneously moisturizes and strengthens tresses, repairs split ends, and enhances shine, leaving hair bouncier and more voluminous. And because amika's dry shampoo relies on rice starch instead of aluminum shavings or talc, it's safe for color-treated hair.
I love the idea of using dry shampoos, but I'm so sensitive to the scents of many of them, I can't use them. And then if I can stand them, if I use them at bedtime, my husband can't stand to lay next to me in bed. (He once went to work early!) This product has a pleasant scent that reminds me of getting my hair done at a spa, and my husband actually complemented it, so I'm impressed. It performed well, too.4
I have a lot of hair products in my routine but this one I definitely reach for a lot4
I really haven't tried many dry shampoos in the past so I don't have a lot of knowledge to compare it with other brands. I did like this product pretty well though. It did the job, and the smell was pleasant. I liked that it was a more color safe product as well in comparison to others also. I would probably buy it again.5
I've used a lot of dry shampoos, this one is one of the best. It doesn't leave a white residue and it even adds volume.4
Everyone needs dry shampoo and this one smells amazing.4
I have been obsessed with amika since getting a sample about a year ago. I purchased a big bottle of the spray and found myself preferring to spray rather than shower my hair :)5
I was skeptical because I'd had bad luck in the past with dry shampoo. But this stuff is idiot-proof. No weird white residue, adds volume, and smells AMAZING. I find myself looking forward to the days I sleep through my alarm and need to skip washing my hair. It doesn't even compare to all the other dry shampoo's I have tried in the past.5
I use Tresseme in between shampooing's and I prefer that brand over this one. Again another product I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase, but it is not something I wouldn't recommend.4
I don't usually use dry shampoo but this it's bad.3
I've never used a dry shampoo before. I waited a few days after not washing and then sprayed my roots with it. It didn't seem to do much or maybe my hair just isn't as greasy as others.4
