Citrus scents are impossibly fresh, but they also have a habit of going missing after a few hours. Until now, that is. This concentrated, distinctive blend lasts much longer than traditional citrus scents. Orange Sanguine is meant to recreate a moment in time, and mimics the blissful feeling of sitting on an oceanfront terrace, with groves of orange trees off in the distance. The joyful scent has top notes of blood orange and bitter orange, a middle transition with jasmine and geranium, and a base of amber woods, tonka beans, and sandalwood.
I really enjoyed this perfume. I usually wear more musky scents during the winter and florals during the summer. I'd never tried citrus before. I thought it was a great perfume. I little bit goes a long way so the sample should last awhile. I plan on taking this on my trip to Chicago so I don't have to pack a big bottle of perfume!4
It's a nice smell, just not my taste. As other reviews have said, it's a more masculine fragrance.2
I really like this but I don't typically wear citrus scents as perfumes (although I absolutely love anything citrus). I think it could definitely grow on me but at this point I don't plan on purchasing. It would make a really nice lotion or candle scent.4
I actually liked the orange scent but I don't wear any fragrance. It's just not my thing!3
The info said it would last for a long time, but it faded so quickly! Smells good, but I'm not paying that much for a scent that doesn't last!3
This Cologne is wonderful. It has a light, fresh smell that somehow accomplishes a great depth. I love to put this on before I walk out the door in the morning.5
Love this, not one bad things to say but I did buy it elsewhere since there was only one, very expensive size offered through Birchbox.5
This was a product, if it were less powerful, that I could see myself wearing, but unfortunately, it was just too strong smelling. (I tend to go towards more herbal scents like peppermint, vanilla, lavender, etc.). Also, the container that the sample came in wasn't practical AT ALL. I opened it very carefully, smelled it, put the cap back on and the product easily seeped out. A spray nozzle would have been very useful and preventative towards loss of product.1
I usually don't go for citrus-y fragrances, but the sweetness in this one is addicting! I can't stop sniffing my wrists after I put it on, and it's lasts nicely.5
I liked this perfume but I wasn't in love with it...just didn't smell quite right on me.3
