i am not a big fan of woodsy scents, and for some reason this product drys my face up fast. so its not for me.2
This is one of the best shaving creams I've tried. I was surprised with the amount of lather it produced and how smooth it made my shave. The scent, however, leaves a bit to be desired. It smells like something my grandfather would use.3
At first I did not like the strong scent of sandalwood on my face but with everyday use I'm beginning to reverse into liking the cream very much . Will keep in mind when reordering shaving cream .4
Love the Sandalwood scent of this shaving cream. When applying it to the face it makes a rich lather.
It's easy to use and as I said it leaves a pleasing scent which others have remarked on. I will be purchasing it again before I run out.
I bought the shave cream as I started using a safety razor. The sandalwood is a great scent, and the cream doesn't leave the skin greasy nor does it leave it dry. How can you go wrong buying a shave cream from a company who has been around for over 150 years!!4
I am a sucker for sandlewood... I don't know what it is about it - but that's why I bought this and it didn't disappoint.
I apply it both with my hands and sometimes with a brush - it's perfect for either. The container is kind of like a shaving soap bowl with a screw on lid, which is nice when I do use a brush.
It's a little big to throw in my dopp bag for travel, but perfect for at home.
This is the first time I've used Old Bond, and I like it. The texture is nice, a small dab does the job, and it smells nice. A nice change from what I was using before.4
I think I used it wrong--one is apparently supposed to work it up into a lather. I imagine this shaving cream is aimed at people who use the brush and old fashioned razor. I liked it fine, but found it more like a pre-shave treatment than shave cream--but again admit I neglected to lather it up. So far I haven't found a brand that beats the drugstore shave cream in a white can (I think I'm not supposed to give brand names).4
Great fragrance, fantastic lather that leads to a close shave. Love that it comes in liquid form, helps save time to lather in the mornings.4
this is what is one of those now ubiquitous foam free shaving creams. It smells great but the smell doesn't last like the product I usually get from Melt in Ptown.4
