Save for a bespoke suit from Savile Row, few things will make you feel as gentlemanly as a classic English shave with a badger brush and straight razor. This legendary cream, direct from London’s ultrasuave West End, is your chance to recreate a professional British cut throat at home and add a bit of old-fashioned elegance to your morning routine. It’s backed by over 150 years of experience, so you know you’ve got history on your side.
I think I used it wrong--one is apparently supposed to work it up into a lather. I imagine this shaving cream is aimed at people who use the brush and old fashioned razor. I liked it fine, but found it more like a pre-shave treatment than shave cream--but again admit I neglected to lather it up. So far I haven't found a brand that beats the drugstore shave cream in a white can (I think I'm not supposed to give brand names).4
Great fragrance, fantastic lather that leads to a close shave. Love that it comes in liquid form, helps save time to lather in the mornings.4
this is what is one of those now ubiquitous foam free shaving creams. It smells great but the smell doesn't last like the product I usually get from Melt in Ptown.4
great smelling shave cream but the texture isnt as thick as I like in my shaving creams but my shave is great.4
Great stuff! My friend needed a bit of cream, since he ran out and he loves it, too, so I'm going to buy him some.5
I really love this shaving cream, very nice smooth texture and love the woodsy smell.5
Texture: thick, foamy
Application: Whip requires some authority, but lathers up real nice for an easy spread
Result: Silky smooth and, most importantly, unburned skin
Scent: Love it; Timeless fragrance mixed w/ cedar and honey
Works just like it should with a great, subtle smell.5
i am not a big fan of woodsy scents, and for some reason this product drys my face up fast. so its not for me.2
This is what a clean shaven face is supposed to smell like. Great sandalwood scent.4
