Dopp kits are meant to organize your instruments of the hygienic craft—not add bulk to your carry-on (which, let’s face it, is already pushing the acceptable size limitations). This streamlined toiletries case is lean and mean, but still large enough to hold everything you need to look good on the go.
The color combo is--well--disgusting. It looks like a school home economics project made from scraps. From a functional perspective--top notch. Not bulky, just enough room to replace the large back I was using for quick runs to the gym. Just---wow---the color combo needs ALOT of work.3
Carries quite a few things and I enjoy the designs. Would definitely buy for gifts of others.4
I wish it had an inside pocket or two but it's simple and you have to appreciate that. Seems to be quality-made and I dig it.5
This is hideous. I can't even re-gift it because I would be embarrassed to give this to anyone. Given the promo video, I thought I'd get the passport case or maybe the scarf, and both of those would have been awesome, but this is the worst.
I'll try to sell the case on eBay, I guess, and am cancelling my Birchbox subscription.
Nice little bag. I would prefer if it had an interior pocket for tweezers, nail clippers, etc.5
Pretty large durable lined bag. Tossed some products in it and keep it in my rock climbing bag.5
This bag is pretty ugly, but it works! I'll toss it in my gift pile for a last minute christmas gift.3
Like many of you, I also get questionable things from Birchbox from time to time, but this one takes the cake. This is a pretty ugly dopp kit without a doubt, but I actually do like the shape of the design. It lets you prop it up in a more accessible way, so it's actually kind of useful. Would I leave this kit out on my bathroom sink? No. It's going to remain stuffed in my backpack in between uses because I wouldn't want to be associated with it, but it does a fairly good job of holding my stuff, so I'd have to give it 2 stars for that.2
I spend up to ten months out of the year traveling and so have been through quite a few toiletry bags. This one is plain and simple: that's refreshing! Although having a nifty pocket for each product is nice for original set up, it also means everything take more time. This oversize pencil bag is a simple way to throw all your travel-sized items in one place.4
If you think it looks bad in the picture, it's even worse in person.1
