Finally, we can follow Rihanna’s lead and “shine bright like a diamond” with this skin-brightening liquid foundation. A beauty editor favorite, it delivers oil-free moisture and a smooth, flawless finish that’s true to its name. Formulated with SPF 25, it protects skin while creating the gorgeous glow of a precious gem (or a multiplatinum pop star).
It looks really good on and covers red areas on my face...for some reason though I got two bottles and didnt get my perfume I was supposed to get! So good thing I like it..4
I got this with my July birchbox, and I love it! I have worn it the past 3 days in a row. As soon as I need to buy foundation, this is going to be it! It provides me with just enough coverage, you can still see my freckles, but it evens out my redness.5
I don't use primer/foundation, but I did sub in and use this as an undereye concealer, and it worked surprisingly well!3
I like this foundation. It went on smoothly and had no scent. For a "brightening" product, it is nice that it doesn't seem shiny or shimmery, just makes your skin tone even and fresh. It is great that it has a higher SPF than many foundations. I would rate the coverage as medium, even though it feels nice and light on my skin.4
Loved the little samples feel on my skin so I ordered the full size product. However the pump on the full sized one doesn't work so I have to unscrew the cap every time I want to use it. I keep unscrewing it, so I guess I the makeups feel and look on my skin more than the annoying packaging flaw.2
This foundation is great. It's smooth and flawless. It also worked with my sensitive skin. The only problem is the sample color I received isn't available for purchase through Birchbox.4
When I received this sample, the first thing I noticed was that the color was called "Honey". I have super fair skin so the color turned me orange, thus I don't know how good the coverage is. Other than that it made my skin soft and smooth and was fairly easy to apply. I would definitely consider buying it- in a different color, obviously.4
i like this foundation i think that ivory is a little light for me but overall pretty good3
I have a super-hard time finding products that match my skin color, because my skin is a shade that my brother describes as "vampire white." I usually have decent luck with Shisheido and some luck with Clinique. So it was a pleasant surprise that "Ivory" in this product was a reasonably good match (maybe one shade too dark). I did like that it has SPF, since my current foundation doesn't, but I found it too greasy to use regularly. I will probably keep this on hand to use basically just as a sunscreen over my nose and cheekbones (which is where I usually get some pink when I'm out in the sun) under my current foundation when I know I'll be out and about.3
Disclaimer: I've not yet bought this product. But I might...
I really had no intention of trying it as a potential of something I might even like, 1. I love my current foundation 2. I don't generally like 'brightening' products 3. I'm fair and its hard to find a 'fair' shade between Kabuki and Reanimator.
I was wrong.
After a bad cold/sinus infection laid me flat, I smashed my foundation on the bathroom floor trying to get ready for a work event.
So I grabbed this little guy out of my July BB. I thought: "what's the harm".
Pros: very light coverage that didn't feel cakey or emphasize my chapped nose/ upper lip. (don't pretend you don't get it)
Most impressively, though the coverage was light, no one stopped me to ask why I was among the living dead and I got my picture taken at the work function and looked decent.
