No matter how weak or damaged your hair is, this fortifying shampoo will get you on the road to recovery. The sulfate-free formula gently cleanses and conditions hair with natural healing ingredients like Monoi Oil and Hibiscus Extract to undo damage already done and prevent it in the future. We love the delicate tropical scent and the twist-up, mess-free package design.
my hair felt very moisturized and weighted down (this is a good thing) after using this and it has a pleasant earthy smell. however, the packaging was not well thought out. i had to tap it like a ketchup bottle towards the middle to end of using it3
I swear by this shampoo. Its sulfate free, great for color treated hair and totally softens. Sometimes I alternate between this and another shampoo.5
When i first started using it, i was wild about it. Now i feel as though it actually leaves my scalp a little greasy. I started using another shampoo because of that.3
Not a fan of this shampoo, for the scent or the result. I felt like it dried my hair out instead of repairing and moisturizing it. I took it with me to Jamaica on my honeymoon, to help repair my hair after days in chlorine and just left it there half used at the end of the trip. I would not purchase this product again. The smell wasn't unpleasant, but did bug me with daily use.2
Smells great, feels great. I heard a lot of good things about this brand and I tried this shampoo out first. Definitely liked it, not sure how much of repairing it does, but have noticed my hair staying stronger and less split ends.4
I've been using this shampoo and conditioner combo for the past few months, and I'm happy with it. The shampoo is gentle, but cleanses well, without giving my hair that "squeaky clean" feeling. Bonus: I really like the scent. Not sure if I would order again, or try a new product when these run out.4
I did not like this. I only used it for a week or so then got rid of it. The smell is AMAZING, which is why I give it two stars instead of one. Other than that, I hated it. It made my hair really greasy at the top and gave it no volume whatsoever. It might be better for someone with really dry hair, but my hair is normal.2
I love the way this product smells, but it really tangles up my hair. I take really good care of my hair and I keep it regularly trimmed and healthy. I had high hopes for this shampoo, but will not be purchasing again.3
Let me start by saying I have colored my hair for 10 years and I'm always on the search for amazing hair product that leaves me normally dry, damaged hair looking freshly colored and healthy. Prior to this product I strictly used Davnies Nou Nou shampoo and conditioners that were formulated specifically for dry, colored treated hair. I love Davines with a passion but was looking for a change and came across Carol's Daughter products. I first tried the travel kit of the shampoo, conditioner and masque and instantly fell in love. Not only does it smell like an amazing beach vacation, it leaves my hair soft and strong, reducing breakage AND it preserves my color amazingly. I would definitely recommend this and have recently gotten my friend, mom and sister to fall in love with it too.5
There are great aspects to this shampoo and some not so great. First, the smell is amazing and the shampoo is really rich. Plus its sulfate free, which is great if you are concerned with natural hair care. The problem with this shampoo is the low lather- it takes a lot of water and serious time to work up a lather. I have tried other sulfate free shampoos and not had such a problem so that is one area I wish was improved. Also, the shampoo is usually separated and you need to open the cap, remove some of the shampoo and then turn it upside down and let it mix. At first, I thought I just got a bad bottle, but they are all like that. Because it is such a heavy/thick shampoo, it feels like you have to use a lot and I run through it quicker, which is concerning for the price.3
