We have a new mantra for keeping our faces looking their absolute best and brightest: “Just dew it.” Putting our motto into practice is now eminently achievable, thanks to this facial re-hydrating mist from Benefit. Made with a lab-developed “tri-radiance” complex, this deeply hydrating spritzer captures skin’s water reserves and instantly perks up your complexion, leaving you refreshed and radiant.
I never thought of a setting spray for my makeup until this sample arrived. This softens my powder and keeps me looking great for hours5
You know that late afternoon face you have- where your makeup is all tired and looking a bit shabby? This is the perfect product for you.
I used this a couple days ago on some tired makeup and it immediately refreshed my face. My makeup looked better, my face felt fresher.
I only wish the sample size was bigger so that I could use it a couple more times to make sure I wasn't dreaming.
The sample was so small i couldn't get a real good feel for it....i got a sample of Maya water from Allur* which i am still using 2+ oz. and will purchase-organic and in a nice big spray bottle.3
I am a fan of Benefit's products and I own several of them so I was really exited to try this one. I haven't used any type of setting spray yet and I have been wanting to see how it would work. What better to sample one of the best brands out there? With that being said, I was absolutely super disappointed. I used it exactly as instructed over my makeup to set it and I immediately looked sweaty and greasy, not "dewy". I don't have oily or greasy skin so I did not feel that this made it look "refreshed". I had to take it off and reapply my makeup. I may still use this as a moisturizer under my makeup but only a small amount and only on the drier parts of my face. On a side note, the sample I got was only half full so I'm not sure what was up with that.1
My skin stays pretty moist after I moisturize, so this product seemed a little counterintuitive to me. I suppose if it were the dead of winter here in VT, this product would be beneficial what with all of the hot dry air indoors and the cold dry air outdoors. In the summer when we have very high humidity? Not so much. I tried it before bed, it was a regreshing little something extra- I stored it in the fridge first.3
I have oily skin, so I don't really need to mist my face with hydrating spray during the day. But I tried it with a face full of make-up on and was disappointed at the big blobs of liquid left on my face. It wasn't a fine mist. Maybe that is just the sample, tho. I tried it again on a freshly-washed face and thought it was nice and offered a mild/gentle hydrating, but it isn't really for me. It would be nice for a young face with clear skin.1
Look, I live in the South. I use a moisturizer, concealer, and little eye make up. It's really humid here and I don't need any more dew-droplets on my face. It smells nice and if I lived in Arizona, I would totally buy this. Thanks!2
it's refreshing and makes my face hydrated. Love the smell as well. I haven't tried it with make up yet. I used it on my bare face after washing and before putting on moisturizer. I would definitely recommend this!5
...the sample size was PATHETIC! seriously?! they give those out for free at benefit counters. i mean i'm not expecting a full size but at least something a little better. and to make matters worth, the little vile was only half full!!! but the actually product did feel nice with the 3 sprays i got from it.5
I can't really figure out when this would be useful to me. If I lived by the beach, maybe I'd take it there to refresh my hot skin, but otherwise, I never really feel the need to spray anything on my skin. It felt nice, but it's just an extra product that would barely get used.
