We have a new mantra for keeping our faces looking their absolute best and brightest: “Just dew it.” Putting our motto into practice is now eminently achievable, thanks to this facial re-hydrating mist from Benefit. Made with a lab-developed “tri-radiance” complex, this deeply hydrating spritzer captures skin’s water reserves and instantly perks up your complexion, leaving you refreshed and radiant.
I received a sample of this product in my July birchbox. To be fair, I will begin with the caveat that this may just not be appropriate for my skin type or compatible with my current facial products. However, the mist made my face slightly wet and then it dried, with no apparent effects. It was unpleasant and did not improve my complexion or appearance, so I am still wondering what the purpose is. I read the description, and I still do not quite understand. I expected to see some change in my skin, but nothing really happened, except my face felt wet for 30 seconds.1
I love hydrating mists and this one seems just as great as the rest. I prefer aerosol mists but the formula of this seems great.5
I used this on for me and my bridesmaids on my wedding day which happened to be the hottest day of the year. It was great to have in the bridal sweet getting ready! Probably won't splurge for everyday use, but enjoyed it while it lasted!4
This is one of those products types that I would have never considered purchasing or thought I needed before sampling. I feel the same way after trying it, but only because it's not something I feel I need in my regular routine. It was a very, very small sample size and a bit difficult to fully try because of this. I will say the mist was refreshing and I was surprised that it felt relatively good. Could be good for re-hydrating your skin throughout the day without applying moisturizer. Not a must have for me, though.3
There was hardly anything to sample. I tried it over my makeup as a finisher but it sprayed out so inconsistently on my skin I felt like I was caught in shower spray. Hard to tell if this was a good product or not.2
There is nothing that turns me off more about a brand than a sample that is so small that you cannot even use it 3-7 days
to see how your skin will react or how effective it is under different conditions such as light or heavy use, weather and day and evening looks.
To be honest I thought this product was quite silly when I saw it...and I kind of still do. But I happened to pop it in my purse on saturday the day of my baby shower and I spritzed some on in the middle of it hoping to refresh my face a little because i was feeling kind of exhausted and overwhelmed. It did give me back a nice glow.3
I don't have dry skin so I don't need a spray to keep me hydrated. Small sample, does smell good though. Just not something I need.2
I don't use these much, but when I do I like the ones that have a lasting effect. This felt good for the first minute or two and then I lost the feeling. It's as if I didn't even spritz it on my face.3
I didn't notice a smell. Feels nice on the initial spray on but didn't notice any changes or difference in how my skin felt. Not impressed with this. I don't think it does anything.2
