Forget pasta, gelato, and pizza—these fresh-scented lotions prove that Italian-made treats don’t need to be carb-heavy to be completely decadent. Made with certified organic citrus fruits and plants grown in southern Italy, this line of rich-yet-lightweight lotions will soften skin, leaving you smelling like you just stepped off the plane from a last-minute Mediterranean getaway.
I got the Olive and rose scent and it smelled so bad that I had to wash it off.2
The smell reminds me of my aunt when I was little and smells a little old lady like and a little hippie like. The square bottle doesn't squeeze very well, so I have to unscrew the top and bang it into my hand. I do like the feel of it and how quickly it absorbs. not greasy or heavy.2
I received the Rose + Olive lotion, and I have to say that I really didn't enjoy having that scent on my skin. It is remniscient of old and dusty/perfumey things that have been hidden in an attic. I'm interested in the Peach + Lemon one, though, since my skin was left feeling silky and it didn't go on greasy. Other than that, the smell was just too unpleasant to want to make a purchase on this particular sample.2
This lotion just wasn't for me. It did soften my skin a bit, but the overly strong fruity scent of the lemon and peach was just too much for me, and I felt the lotion was a bit too greasy for my liking. Together with the bare bones plastic sample packaging it reminded me too much of the body lotions you get in a hotel bathroom.2
This lotion did smell great but I do not think it provided adequate moisture. Might be good for someone who only need a little bit of hydration.2
It's an okay body lotion. Doesn't seem particularly special. I sampled the olive and rose scent--and at first I was a little confused by the smell, I both liked and disliked it. Now I think I've decided I'm not a fan of the scent. It's not bad per se, but very different.2
I agree that the product's scent is decadent, but I am not a fan of the overpowering sweetness of it. I prefer a lotion that is thick in texture, and this lotion was not thick enough, and also did not provide enough lasting moisture for my skin. This one is not for me.2
The lotion seemed to work pretty well. It was light and nice to apply, but the scent of the Olive Rose was terrible. I didn't think it smelled fresh at all. Hopefully their other fragrances are a little more refreshing.2
I received the Lemon + Peach one & it smells AWFUL!!! The lotion itself feels very water based & spreads very well but I think I'll stick to my Kiehl's Creme de Corps.2
This lotion is ok. I like the texture of it and that it feels like it absorbs well into my skin, but I really don't like the smell. It smells kind of stale and not good.2
