If your skin has an Edward Cullen-like pallor, it’s time to consider a sunless tanner. But be careful, eager beaver: Not all self-tanners are created equal (we don’t know about you, but we’d rather be pale than orange). We’re particularly smitten with these easy-to-use, travel-friendly towelettes, which give you a natural-looking faux glow—no sun exposure required.
Would have been nice to receive more then 1 wipe. 1 wipe is suppose to be good for half of a body. I didn't even bother trying because who wants half their body tanned and not the other. Maybe send multiples or larger samples of similar products.1
A single towelette as a sample might not provide the full effect needed to give a fair review but I did not see any change in color to my skin. Maybe a second or third application would have been needed but the smell was borderline offensive. I used it a few hours before getting dressed for NYE and was really nervous about what would transpire over the 2-4 hours that the directions informed--- turns out nothing horrible happened because nothing at all happened but I would have rathered to shower it off because of the smell.1
I'm so upset I didn't like/see any results from these tan towels because I was told by a few of my friends that they work amazingly! I tried these little towels twice, once on my face (big mistake=oily) and once on my back. Both times I saw barely any change at all in color and the smell is disgusting.1
I am the whitest person I know and my legs were all orange and stripe-y after using. This might have worked for me if it was more subtle. And it probably has this subtlety for people who aren't as god awfully white as me.1
Left my skin looking orange and streaky. I really dont understand how this product works, but definitely didnt like how it looked on my skin.1
I use A LOT of self tanners. And this one really didn't give me much color. I don't like using the cloth to apply it.. you couldn't really tell if anything was going anywhere. I did like way a toilette travels.. but. Thumbs down on this one1
I have very light skin, and this went on a little orange on me. My skin is also super sensitive, most self tanners make me break out with little red bumps, and this one was no exception. Not for me.1
I was super excited to get this in my box as I was traveling and thought this would be a great way to take some self tanner with me without having to pack liquids or gels. I was very disappointed after applying i barely saw a change in color.1
I guess maybe I have embraced my pale "Edward Cullen like pallor" but even if I hadn't these turned the swatch I did on my thigh bright orange so I couldn't use them anyways. Pale girls beware.1
I threw these out and didn't bother to use them because of the parabens. I thought by telling BirchBox that I like natural products they wouldn't send me things like this! Ugh.1
