If your skin has an Edward Cullen-like pallor, it’s time to consider a sunless tanner. But be careful, eager beaver: Not all self-tanners are created equal (we don’t know about you, but we’d rather be pale than orange). We’re particularly smitten with these easy-to-use, travel-friendly towelettes, which give you a natural-looking faux glow—no sun exposure required.
The concept of the towel is great, but it doesn't cover much area. I also didn't notice a huge change in color. I would rather use a mousse tanner or just go outside.2
I didnt think it was very effective or lasted long at all. Smelled kinda weird and smeared easy.3
I like these because you can build up your tan instead of looking super unnaturally tan/orange after one use5
I'm sorry but one towel just doesn't offer enough to provide an accurate opinion on this product. I could barely do 1 arm with the towel and also I'm extremely pale. I'm still not sure why I was sent this in my BB sample. If the sample would've been larger and maybe lighter I could see it working out much better.1
I don't self tan and i'm not a fan of this wipe, although it does smell good. but leaves you skin feeling sticky3
I am your typical irish girl, pasty white with plenty of freckles to spare. This towellette is easy to use and great for on the go. It doesn't leave the streaky grotesque tan that most self tanners do. It also smells pleasant.4
I have very pale skin and I don't think that the color complimented. I much prefer the gradual tan lotions. I thought it was a little streaky and the sample wasn't big enough to really try.2
it takes a few times for a self tanning towel to take effect on me, and because i only had one i couldnt tell if it had worked3
I guess my biggest gripe is I only got the one towelette to try. It was fairly large, so it covered both legs. It wasn't sticky and dried quickly. I did get slightly darker legs, but I feel like I should of gotten at least one more towelette to try applying to see how it builds on itself.
That being said, I'm honestly not into self tanners and really hope I don't continue getting them every month. Last month I got the self tanning lotion in a foil packet.
I love the concept, and I loved the application, and my color came out smooth. However, my color came out kind of orange...maybe I'm too light to use the product? If the color would have been tan and not orange, it would have been a keeper.2
