If your skin has an Edward Cullen-like pallor, it’s time to consider a sunless tanner. But be careful, eager beaver: Not all self-tanners are created equal (we don’t know about you, but we’d rather be pale than orange). We’re particularly smitten with these easy-to-use, travel-friendly towelettes, which give you a natural-looking faux glow—no sun exposure required.
I have never been a fan of self-tanners and this one hasn't changed that opinion. No matter the form, I feel they all go on a bit strange and the towelette style made it difficult to know if you applied evenly3
I received this sample ad was not happy at all. I do not care for these self tan wipes and do not think they are very effective at all.1
I'm not into self-tanning and this product is just kind of strange to me.1
I didn't notice any color from this the next day. Also did not like the fact that I couldn't tell how much product was being applied. Just a strange product.1
I look like Snookie pre baby. Apparently this product and the undertones of being Navajo/German do not mix. In the right lighting it is very flattering, unfortunately that light is not daylight. I think this would probably work best on someone with a different skin tone.1
Love the idea of an easy to travel with self tanner, vacation is when you want to look like a bronze goddess after all! The product is easy to apply and doesn't look orange, also didn't rub off on anything. Now, if they would just make these AS gloves instead of towelettes then they'd be on to something!4
Got ONE towel in my box this month... no much good if you want an even tan... didnt like th color it turned into1
I'm a little scared of self tanners, so I wasn't really expecting much from this product. However, it smells ok, and it did add a good deal of color to my very, very white legs. :) I'm not certain I'd purchase this however, as I really am not much for tans, or fake n bake. :)2
There are so many better tanners on the market, do not buy these tan towels! They are overpriced and leave my skin looking orange and splotchy. They also tend to dry out my skin.
Maybe it's just me, but I much prefer mousse or lotion to the towel kind of applicator.
Feel like this was a product that many women who subscribe may not find much value in. While I get that there are plenty who do tan, not many women of color will find this interesting - most black, latino, indian and asian Birchboxers got a useless product with this...1
