Free of talc, fragrance, oil and parabens, this invisible micro powder acts as a do-it-all finishing touch – minimizing pores, setting makeup, and reducing discoloration. The result? An airbrushed, flawless, poreless-seeming (yet natural) finish.
I've tried a few loose and pressed setting powders but this one is the best!
It has minimal, safe ingredients for those out there with breakout/sensitive skin. It also is very finely milled to allow for flawless application. YOU CAN GO OVERBOARD so be careful with how much you put on. You only need a light dusting over pore areas/oily areas.
I have very large pores on my cheeks and around my nose and it really diffuses them perfectly, especially in pictures. It also helps control my oily t-zone. If you put too much it can leave a white/light cast so its imperative to use a tiny amount.
I've had this powder for a year or two now and its still ridiculously full even with some travel where I spilled some. The only problem is the powder is so finely milled it gets into the sides of the cap and makes it hard to close sometimes but its really not an issue.
This is definitely worth the price considering some other comparable powders are 40$+ (NARS I'm looking at you!). You can even use the wayne goss method of applying a very sheer layer of powder before your makeup application and after to make your skin look smoother and last ALL day.
I did that with this powder for my graduation day which started with makeup application at 6am and lasted until midnight after my party!
Definitely recommend for you to try it out at least and make sure you apply a small amount and if necessary can build it up. If you do put too much on just use a beauty blender to pounce it and diffuse it.
I have been trying to find an alternative to Bare Minerals Mineral Veil (with which I was never very satisfied) and found this product by searching on Birchbox. Purchased solely based on the reviews. I am very, very happy with this product. This product goes a long way to even out my relatively light (with red patches) skin tone and reduce the appearance of pores. It creates a great finish over foundation or BB cream and holds the whole day.
I apply it with the Heavenly Luxe Powder Brush from the same brand, which is also an outstanding product.
Very pleased. Eager to try other items in the line.
Loooove this powder! It's super-fine and smooths right over the skin flawlessly, giving an airbrushed look. I apply this with my kabuki brush - sometimes I use it alone (after moisturizer and sunscreen) and sometimes I use it as a setting powder over my BB cream. Either way, amazing results! I have combo skin leaning towards the oily side and large pores, so this powder is a gem because it conceals pores very nicely...never cakey and never settles into lines!5
I love this powder. It really makes your face look flawless! It gives my face a satin feel. It's great. I will buy it again!5
This does a great job of sheerly setting makeup, and making skin look a little more perfect without looking like you are wearing powder. It is important to use very very little at a time to get the effect.5
This powder has to be one of THE BEST powders I have tried so far! I have large pores, but this product gave my skin a flawless, poreless finish.
The powder's color is very light, but when applied to the face, it becomes transparent, so no worries there.
I found that by using the powder pad (included with the powder), I was able to use very little powder, and applied it to my face without wasting a bit.
What also impressed me about this powder was the fact that it didn't settle in the fine lines on my face, but instead made my face look younger and my skin smoother.
I purchased the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores powder and received it about a week ago and I am very pleased with it. I don't know that it conceals fine lines and diminishes pores as much as it said, but I REALLY do love the overall finish it gives! I read some complaints about it being too fine of a powder therefore inhaling it. I haven't had that happen. As with any powder, just be careful and it won't happen. I use the puff it came with.
Also, some complained it left them too pale. I have fair skin to begin with so I'm not sure if that matters or not, but I have not had any problems looking pale. Again, just don't over do it and it won't happen!
I have used both on top of foundation or without foundation and was pleased both ways.
I started using this about two weeks ago and can't believe what a difference it makes. I'm 40 and have fine lines under my eyes, plus I struggle with large pores on and around my nose.
I dust this over my foundation, just in the places I feel I need it. I haven't noticed a yellow cast to it and it doesn't dry my skin out. Anyway, since I started using this I've (2X so far) been mistaken for being in my twenties. I think because it really disguises the lines under my eyes, everything is blurred and my skin looks smooth and flawless.
I love this more than mineral veil. Especially for combination skin. Helps reduce my o and shine throughout the day4
I put this on under my foundation and it made my skin look flawless. Like it was airbrushed. A little goes a long way. I highly recommend it!4
