Demure neutrals are mani mainstays, but for a much-needed shakeup, try these eye-catching polishes from LAQA & CO. Beyond the gorgeous hues, the long-lasting formula stays chip-free noticeably longer than many other lacquers. Plus, each on-trend polish eschews toxic ingredients like formaldehyde, toluene, and DHP. Our favorite (new!) hues in the Shop: Bells & Whistles, a rich plum, Greedy Guts, a classic red, and Plonk, a reddish brown. And get your hands on Bounty Hunter, a vibrant fuchsia that’s our bold hue go-to.
I got this in Squid Ink and I have to say it is a pretty impressive polish. Stayed for almost a full week without chipping, went on smoothly and garnered so many compliments!4
This is a pretty color, but it didn't look great on my skin, I would pick a better color. Overall it is a pretty nice nail polish.3
I liked the product, but not the light color I got on my box. I like dark colors better. Stayed on quite awhile.4
Some of the worst nail polish I've ever bought. The pink was so sheer, it required 3 coats... but took about an hour to dry. The polish started to chip less than 48 hours later, even with a top coat. Terrible!!1
I tried these for the first time six days ago and I am impressed at how well it lasted. Only one small chip, which could be easily covered up. Better than other "vegan" brands.
Squid Ink is kind of similar to a Tiffany Blue. Very tropical and summery.
Bounty Hunter is definitely an all year round pop of pink to perk up any outfit.
I totally agree with all the 1 star comments. I think the people who gave this high marks were not talking about that special "offer" in their March box for that pink/purple sparkly duo. The colors in these photos look more like a normal nail laquer; however, the ones I got were so horrible I really actually found it to be the worst product I have ever used in my life. No nail polish should go on like goopy sandpaper, the only way I could get it to cover my nail without being horribly streaky/sandpapery at the same time was to put a massive goop on and lightly spread it out....AND it would chip within hours or even less than. This product was so far from a nail polish, it was more similar to actual glue with sparkles. HORRIBLE1
I love how easy it is to apply the nail polish it's just like using a magic marker and easily putting on the polish rather than fighting the mess of regular polish. I think I need to try some deeper colors because these are too close to my skin tone and bring out the yellow in my skin. So next time I will order a much deeper color or two. But I love the application and the polish remover in the little plastic circular case.5
I really wish I hadn't reserved these with my March box. While I love the colors, the formula is awful. It's so thick and completely dull. If only I didn't keep losing my return shipping form.1
I actually subscribe to Laqa's monthly box on their site, and I've gotta say , it's one of my favorite formulas - goes on the nail nicely and almost always covers in one coat. Im a polish junky and use mainly Deborah Lippmann, Butter London, and Zoya, so I know my polishes (or like to think i do lol). I have BMX Bandit and Bounty Hunter, of the ones they show here.4
I'm so mad I paid extra to add this to my March box. It's goopy and powdery textured. You can't get a good coat on your nails. It's just awful.
