According to the Beatles, “All you need is love”—but when it comes to nail art, we say, “All you need is LAQA & CO.’s super handy Nail Polish Pen.” This lacquer-filled nail tool makes nail designs easy and fun to create and is great for on-the-go touchups. Better yet, each on-trend polish eschews toxic ingredients like formaldehyde, toluene, and DHP.
I was actually mislead with this product. I thought this was more of a nail polish utensil for writing/drawing on one's fingernail. When I got it and noticed the bigger sized brush, I realized it was for painting nails a solid color.
It still ended up being a great product, but there could be some clarification in the product description.
This is one of the longest-lasting nail polishes I've ever used, which is pretty incredible. The application technique is quite easier than the traditional bottle of nail polish. I wish more colors were available!
This is my first try with a nail polish pen. I like it
and it is easy to use. It seems to dry quickly and
doesn't drip. I am not sure the color is like the
picture but I like it so I will keep it.
I can't seem to use it right, it dries up a little too quickly and won't allow to spread to corners right so when you reapply it keeps streaking and drying out...so far not satisfied but will keep trying...2
So I ordered the top coat thinking this was a pen to put cool nail art with out the mess, however I realized that top coat really meant what it usually means...clear. I was slightly disappointed but low and behold this little brush pen is very handy. I sometimes use it right before bed and it dries in record time. I thought the little brush would get hard after several days of non use but once you pump more polish on it softens right up. Wish they had some more colors to choose from...5
I'm trying to find a good topcoat and I love the idea of a pen so that the topcoat doesn't take on the under polish and create a tint towards the end, but this is NOT a good top coat. I have LAQA nail polish and that dried faster than this top coat. The topcoat is still tacky after 30 minutes and after an hour, I can make a thumbprint in it. It's not advertised as fast drying but... this is a little silly.
Additionally, there is no "squeezing" to the top coat (I don't know about the colors) but it's a clicker at the top. Which is actually nicer to me, controls how much is used, but for the small amount that came out (it comes fast, watch out! Hover over the nail when you click it!), the fact it doesn't dry is just impractical for a top coat.
Such a pretty color and really easy to use! So glad I decided to try this! Definitely give it a try!5
this is a cute little pen but I feel it is more for touch ups..or I like to use it on my grandaughters nails because its small and dries pretty quickly..wish they had more colors4
This isn't really a nail polish pencil.I wanted something to use for nail art and this was more like a polish "wand" or something. it's a nice way to easily apply polish, but it's really too thick ( the applicator that is) for nail art. Great color!3
I was thinking this would be a dotter, not a brush. However, this is WAY better than the last nail brush pen I used. The color is so fun! Glad I live in Florida where we can wear summer colors practically year round because this shade screams "Popsicles and surfboards " - love it!4
I really wanted to like this nail polish pen, but it just doesn't work like a real polish. Even if you only lightly push the button a lot of polish comes out making it very difficult to apply even light coats. Not worth $13 or even $5 for that matter.3
