According to the Beatles, “All you need is love”—but when it comes to nail art, we say, “All you need is LAQA & CO.’s super handy Nail Polish Pen.” This lacquer-filled nail tool makes nail designs easy and fun to create and is great for on-the-go touchups. Better yet, each on-trend polish eschews toxic ingredients like formaldehyde, toluene, and DHP.
Such a pretty color and really easy to use! So glad I decided to try this! Definitely give it a try!5
So I ordered the top coat thinking this was a pen to put cool nail art with out the mess, however I realized that top coat really meant what it usually means...clear. I was slightly disappointed but low and behold this little brush pen is very handy. I sometimes use it right before bed and it dries in record time. I thought the little brush would get hard after several days of non use but once you pump more polish on it softens right up. Wish they had some more colors to choose from...5
The color itself is beautiful however It was a little different to use and clogged after the first use. Easy to fix but kind of unfortunate.4
While I like the concept of a nail polish pen, and thought that the texture and consistency of the product was pretty good, it was a little too difficult to use over a regular nail polish brush. It probably takes some practice but I don't think I'll use it frequently.4
I was actually mislead with this product. I thought this was more of a nail polish utensil for writing/drawing on one's fingernail. When I got it and noticed the bigger sized brush, I realized it was for painting nails a solid color.
It still ended up being a great product, but there could be some clarification in the product description.
This is one of the longest-lasting nail polishes I've ever used, which is pretty incredible. The application technique is quite easier than the traditional bottle of nail polish. I wish more colors were available!
When I first got this product I wasn't sure if I'd use it because I'd never tried a purple lipstick before and I didn't think it'd look good. However I tried it anyway and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it! You can vary the depth of the shade depending on how much you put on and it stays very well.4
This is my first try with a nail polish pen. I like it
and it is easy to use. It seems to dry quickly and
doesn't drip. I am not sure the color is like the
picture but I like it so I will keep it.
I really wanted to like this nail polish pen, but it just doesn't work like a real polish. Even if you only lightly push the button a lot of polish comes out making it very difficult to apply even light coats. Not worth $13 or even $5 for that matter.3
I thought the top coat was going to be white, since that is the color bubble I clicked on... Guess I should have paid more attention.3
Much more fuschia than the color dot on the shade selection implies. Once the pump is depressed it takes 2 minutes to come back up for another pump, so the nail polish starts to dry unevenly and gets tacky on the brush. Maybe mine is defective? Pump also takes a bit of strength to depress. The brush is not as thin as I had hoped. Overall not really an improvement over a standard bottle of polish.
The pen is easy to hold and makes application easy, and the polish itself is of good quality. After I sloooooowly use up the polish I may dip the pen in bottle polishes to use as a brush.
