As the saying goes, two is better than one. When it comes to LAQA & Co.'s fat lip pencils, we couldn't agree more. After all, these gloss-delivering pencils require no sharpener and give lips a vibrant sheen. Luckily, the company recently released the pencils in the form of a travel-friendly duo. The smooth shea-butter complex moisturizes and coats lips with saturated, glossy color, in two high-energy shades.
My sample had a broken tip.
Bummed out before I even tried it. I did not like this product it was too thin and greasy for me. Not purchasing
I'm a huge fan of crayons for coloring, but less so for makeup. This product might not have found its best audience in me. I didn't find it useful: the tip was way too blunt for fine control, so I end up feel like I'm putting on makeup in a slapstick comedy. I can use a brush for better control, but then, what's the point of having a "handy applicator" type format?2
I was disappointed with the barbie pink sample that came in my Birchbox. It was very pretty it just did not complement my darker complexion. Other than that the color did pack a punch and it has a nice shine.2
I received this in my December box and was very disappointed. I have very fair skin, dirty blonde hair and bright blue-grey eyes. I got the red lip pencil and was not happy-- red lips do not look good with my facial profile. I was surprised that it came in my box. That being said, I gave it to my friend and she said that it was creamy and not sticky, lasted long, and was nicely pigmented. Unfortunately, this just wasn't for me.2
I am not sure what color I got this in... it was a blue toned red. I have worn this lip pencil on multiple occasions and it just did not last on my lips. It settled into the lines on my lips and just was not attractive. It was beautiful when applied and I love the color, just not an hour later when it is just an impression of what once was.2
Goes on easily and The consistency is good but just not a good color on me. Really bright and very pink red.2
I got the Ring of Fire Color in my box. Bossy Boots would undoubtedly have been better for my skintone. The bright red of Ring of Fire doesn't really work on my light olive skin. That said, the product did feel nice on and it was a good size.2
did not like this lip pencil. the color was not good for me and i didnt feel it went on nice.2
I have caramel colored skin and the bright red (Ring of Fire) is too bright for me. I was excited to receive a nice looking lip-stick in my December box, but the color just doesn't work for me. The feel is okay though-- I tried it on, and it isn't too thick or waxy, which is a plus.2
While the color was beautiful, saturated, and applied smooth, my lips were dried out and peeling after 15 minutes of wearing the product.2
